I do, Alantic cod, most the time. You bake it, add some ready made spaghetti sauce on it and top it with an slice of mozerella cheese and let it melt and serve..with steamed spinach and bacon bits in chix stock.... Some kind of fresh fruit. (Pears?)

stopped looking towards this world's way of eating and was asking
God...I prayed God man of this world does not seem to know what
to eat and I am asking you not man as you know. (at this time I
was eating kosher and so being faithful in the least I was given
more you see). So if you don't approve of my diet then take it up
with my Lord.

btw organic non gmo extra virgin olive oil is what I use (since it
was brought up) and other organic non gmo oils to a much lesser
extent I use are sunflower and coconut....At the link for anyone
interested is a list of gmo vs. non gmo oils. But then I suggest for
anyone concerned learn how to read labels and become a label
reader. I sometimes spend more time grocery shopping but it's
worth it to me as I can spend less time on something else not as
important to me but my diet is at the top of the list important. I
do the best I can in spite of the circumstances and I feel good
about that.

My skin care, my soap, lotion, toothpaste, etc. I am just as picky
about ingredients as well.

my apologies and I am a bit overly sensitive sometimes about my diet and had to defend it more than I like so I am more solitary because of
that. Yet I know what it is like to be on the other side of the fence too so I don't want to be condemning about it. I want to tell everyone it's a
wonderful way and freeing in many ways but most don't want to hear or are not ready. Thus I don't say a lot just more so here on EB recently
as maybe being the topic is a bit more out in the open... I think to myself sometimes it could be some are wondering and maybe asking
themselves questions in regards as I once did. I want to encourage and not discourage as some of the recent news media has been dissing it.

My family, friends, neighbors, acquaintances have not always been supportive but that's okay cause I have the most important support of all in
spirit. I should have seen it before I did yet needed guidance in the spirit and to grow more first...But when I was ready and asking he came to
me and he said "Eve, this way ...go back to the beginning when all was good"...I hope and pray that the things I have been through on my
journey...my testimony that I share... will be used for the highest good of the loverly forever kingdom of peace.

And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Thank you for providing an opportunity to share a part of my testimony...it's a good thing even though I was a bit ruffled and misunderstood...
you responded kindly charles and thank I you for that. (~Revelation 12:11)

Mind if I ask you an question about your diet..as its an common question with vegetarians...what do you substitute for meat protein? Just wondering....On my Paleo diet..my meat is 97 percent fat free and its very expensive also, but there are many things I am not suppose to have.. like beans and rice on this diet.
Most my meat comes from chicken also. They like an good grade of food if possible. Preferably no wheat.

Hi kemokae,

I don't mind you ask me....

There is enough protein in plant based foods to support the body's needs naturally, created that way for us. For myself I eat nuts for majority of
protein and also seeds like flax, chia, sesame, pumpkin, sunflower also avocados, (for more + info see list at link)...They are full of protein, minerals,
and good fats and they lower the risk of heart disease and diabetes.

Peas also have an ample amount of protein. In one cup of peas there are 8g of protein. I also use plant based meal replacement (my fav is
"PlantFusion" 18g protein in vanilla) in my daily smoothie and sometimes I use peanut powder also for a smoothie, add almond milk 5g protein in
8oz, and they even make chocolate pea milk that has 8g protein per serving and it's pretty darn tasty too.

I don't eat fast food ever and I eat out on a rare occasion I prefer to prepare my meals at home. I limit sweets as well.

Beans only sparingly (preferably lentils) and rice sparingly also. Soy seldom and sparingly as well. I rarely eat wheat and shop for gluten free items.

Some other plant protein sources are Quinoa, Chickpeas, Temph, Buckwheat, Spinach, Nut Butters, Nuts as I said (pistachios, cashews, etc.)

Basically I consider nuts, seeds, veggies and fruits to be my meat, these are all sufficient and in balance provide all the protein needed.

Appreciate the opportunity to share so thank you!

Truly,
~Eve

p.s. the link may take a moment to load but 20 plant based proteins are listed along with their protein values.

One of our daughters went vegan five or more years ago, and the most noticeable thing about her health was that for the first three winters she didn't completely catch any cold or flu virus!
(Did know she was fighting something off once, sorry details are just about lost with me.)

She did seriously crave eggs a few months ago and ate them for a couple of months but would not cheat in any other way. She is a meditator that loves Jesus and I salute her listening and obeying her inner-leading so faithfully.

She never let herself have cheese or anything else with eating the eggs.

Peripherally, I found a high-quality granola at a target store, called "Simply Elizabeth" that's full of Amaranth, chia and some other very healthy things.

Way to go, Eve!
