Another round of heavy rain hit southern California on Thursday, causing flash flooding and the threat of mudslides, and also forcing thousands of people to flee their homes.
The storm could be the single biggest rainfall event in downtown Los Angeles so far this rainy season, AccuWeather meteorologist Dan Pydynowski said.

we're currently being hit by t-storms here in the so.
sierras. According to the radar, so is Santa Barbara at
this moment. They've also elevated the watch to a flood
warning there.
We're getting cloud to ground lightning, heavy rain and
hail right now. Getting weather alerts all over the
place.
