Sher, you reminded me of a memory... After I'd been
kicked out of Sunday School (for having yelled at the
teacher that Black babies in Africa weren't going to hell
if missionaries didn't "save" them before they died of
starvation), I had to sit through the adult church
service with my Mom and Aunt, and I remember the first
time the congregation sang Onward Christian
Soldiers..."...marching as to war, with the cross of
Jesus going on before..." My Mom was holding my hand,
looking down at me, swinging my hand back and forth to
the music, belting out that song with her beautiful
voice, smiling...and all I could do was cry in horror...
She saw my tears and picked me up, had no idea what was
happening, kept on singing that horrific song...
He had nothing whatsoever to do with violence or
domination -- in thought or in feeling toward others, in
government, in *anything*.......least of all in
"conquering"........

Heynow, Lee. I’m glad to hear you’re healing. Damn, brah, we all can use
as much of that kine stuff as we can get..
But, hey, what do you think of the changes of our government? Are all
these firings and closings, the taking down of our history when it doesn’t
align with the current admin, literally, the rewriting of our history.. is all
that still in keeping with your own vision of our greatness? Does all this,
by your estimation, still add up to the right path to our collective
happiness?
I’m curious.. I mean, since you spoke so glowingly about these changes
as they began to be foisted upon us, what do you think of them now? Are
you happy, Lee?

...and what does Nevada think about his precious Saint
Tulsi's eagerness to punish conscientious
whistleblowers?
Nevada thinks we all have our individual imperfections
to address.
I'm working on my own shortcomings as well as planning
on a rather large survival garden in the immediate
future.
If my fellow democrats had been a little more
discerning with their own actions in the previous
decade or two some of today's frustrations could have
been avoided.
Never forget we are all in this moment together
regardless of how we got here.
Learning to respect others and look more closely at our
own current and past mistakes would probably be in
keeping with future successes.
Fortunately the Christ suggested that often our current
"misfortunes" can lead to future solutions and even
spiritual growth.
As for Tulsi, I always considered "myself" to be
something of a conscientious whistleblower" and look
what that attitude has earned me on EB...
...maybe we should clean up our own act before we
condemn others for the very acts we proudly perform
ourselves most every day?
