I would suggest another way of looking at it..
God is all and everything. All the stuff on one side of your equation, and all
the stuff on the other. The trick is in achieving a balance.
Not to say sticking to one or the other doesn't work, but only to point out,
there is nothing, not a thing, that is not god. imo, of course.
In essence, we are god. And we, as is god, are creators. If one is pure in
themselves, how they create, and the rewards they may reap, are all a part
of one's life, and if held in balance all to the good.
Again, the trick is in achieving a balance.

Pretty simple right? Have faith, forget about all what you're having faith in,
just have it in spades. If you want to pray, hey, Trump figured out how to get
a shitload of folks to repeat, pray, chant, after him.. and bingo they're all
hypnotized. But yeah it works.. but wow to those that have no idea what
they're doing when they go down that path..
Just like god, we're creators. We can focus our attention and with it create.
Faith/prayer can create outcomes, and hey, I like faith. But damn if I'm
attaching it to this or that. When it comes to breaking the one down into the
many I'm attracted to knowledge. If you really want to talk god, talk to a
physicist or a medical savant. They're the ones working their asses off
trying to define god. Or talk to a musician. Coddle a baby, play with kids.
Grow your own food.
We're creators. And oh, btw, this is heaven. The idea that it's not is a joke. A
ruse. And look what we're doing to the place. Yep, a lot of faith, but in the
end science is what it will take to clean it up. And, ya know, if we miss that
opportunity, we'll turn the place into hell.

...in mylifetime God has blessed me with a waterfall, two
lakes and a spring fed pond, and a high desert lake View.
Some I have passed on, others I have used in the spirit
God probably intended.
Having said all that, don't recall God ever regretting
the gifts or admonishing me to call Him Master.
Teamwork and friendship can sometimes be like that.

Whatever...personally I find your spirit to be most comparable to a

...personally I prefer Debussy to clanging cymbals...
...but I'm pretty sure God leaves those choices up to us.
