Thank you for saying what others in the MAGA sect think and feel (many of which may rarely sift the scriptures for truth) and to that I must say that man made laws are not God's laws as God's ways are higher than man's ways. What you are witnessing in this addition to a book is how man made laws get injected by man into a canon and touted as if it's God's words when it is far from it. Just like in the U.S. Capitol where Hammurabi of Babylon is given credit for being a forerunner of U.S. man made laws via Hammurabi's Code from Babylon. Think on this (it's a riot as mankind deceives themselves). An eye for an eye is in the the words "do not kill" in the preferring and eye for an eye from Hammurabi of Babylon. Christ taught "do not kill" and that an eye for an eye is not true...yet many who say they follow him continue on in the old cloth forsaking the new including ignoring "do not kill" in the O.T.. He taught and lived by the law "do not kill" and not by Hammurabi's law in the O.T. "an eye for an eye"...do not kill is inclusive to other creatures such ones with flesh and blood for this is love. I have read Hammurabi's Code and no where does it say "do not kill". Seek God while he’s here to be found, pray to him while he’s close at hand. Let the wicked abandon their way of life and the evil their way of thinking.
