Mormon's for quite some time believed that the Bible forbade blacks from holding the Priesthood. I left the Church because God conveyed to me privately that was a false teaching. The Mormon Church got the same "revelation" a couple decades later and changed their beliefs accordingly. My conclusion, the Bible is a "living document" that is meant to evolve as the world evolves. Sorry if we disagree on that. |

Not to say it's 'wrong' as much to point out it's a choice, and all choices are limiters.. once made they limit us from all the other possible choices.. If a person says all truths must come from a book, well then those are the only truths they'll ever see, once they've decided to limit their choices to that one book. |

...and apparently it's still in the "book". It's the eye for an eye thing that keeps diverting us from the "path" sometimes. I had cataract surgery a few years back and it worked so well I really want to keep both my eyes now. I think shadow has one of the better approaches when she speaks of loving and respecting the "one" in all. |

Georg, the original *biblical fraud* happened in the year 325 a.d., when *human men* led by Constantine gathered and decided what was to become *The Bible* followed by all. They are the source of that verse forbidding anyone to "add or take away from holy writ," because what they were configuring as the bible was literally a body of dogma *that guaranteed that church and state would be one governing body. Doing this ensured that Government held ultimate power over any human being's relationship with the Divine, to dictate and enforce laws and rules of Christian behavior that would make them eminently answerable to, punishable by, *controllable* by those who wrote the dogma... The most ridiculously inappropriate reframing of the Divine is the "humanization" of God -- presenting the Divine as having the capacity to be angry, vengeful, jealous, all these worst qualities of a human being... Very useful for their purposes, of course...lol...just one more fear-based manipulation that'll ultimately bomb as it should, because what God Is has nothing whatsoever to do with *fear*.......... All's I feel for those whose realities identify with the fear-based, angry God myth is massive compassion...and hope that they'll allow themselves to *fall in Love* with the Divine one day, and discover what all's been waiting for them once they leave dogmatic mind control behind... |

Why not just take this to the next "logical" step and admit that the United States in many ways has become the Nation of Sin, a global anti-Christ if you wish. Donald Trump is a diversion from what really ails us. "Trump" is the symptom of what we all seem destined to become. Want to solve this problem, all of us clean up our own act before we get too involved in blaming others for our own transgressions. The clue should be this one simple fact... if Trump were to "disappear" from the earth, nothing would change and we would soon anoint a "new" anti-Christ. The "list" is an incredibly long one I suspect. Forgot the "antiChrist" line, look for the Christ in your life instead. Everything else will probably fall into place a lot quicker. |
