Just maybe...the manifestation of
"Demon motivated behavior" is anti-survival
for the person and their group or tribe...
the active mechanism being that a 'reprobate"
mind is increasing tasked to devout conscious
thought and time to maintain "the sin thought
or behavior" at the expense of the (implied) personal
and group survival critical tasks.
This maybe why historically the tribe members
drove the "possessed" from group contact until
some demonic influence scheme could either
restore the victim or fail and compel
banishment to minimize adverse effects on
the group / tribe....
