I try to "keep the sabbath" with every breath I take
regardless of the calendar.
Limiting yourself to only one day a week seems rather
self defeating if your goal in this life is to perfect
ones spirit and follow in the footsteps of our creator.
Christ was the personification of perfect and divine
love, not perpetual revenge and war. Just because it's
in the Bible doesn't mean Christ said it, or God forbid,
practiced or advocated it.

them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women,
children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and
donkeys.’”
This was a vengeance attack several hundred years after
the Amalekites' supposed attack.
