Friday Ruminations from Deep Space...:

On the way to maybe re-acquiring some of your rented
out mind- space you may want to review this content
(written by an atheist).

The comments in the utube vid. are informative and
entertaining. (https://m.youtube.com/watch?

The high level question is: Is your belief system
leading to a self-limiting life course which will also
vanquish you (-probably sooner than later)??

When the locus-of-control of your decisions driven by
a (hidden?) party who may not have your best interests
set as their priority (in controlling you) do you face
calamity down the line as a result (sooner or later)?

Inquiry sleuths would like to know....

[Some old Bible passages actually do forecast
discoveries in the future -- so it's a bit of a
conumdrum trying to take sides with a clear-cut
decision making mind...]

When the musick stops -- don't be the stuckeee !

...the quick response is "possibly", a more thought out
response might be that it's probably a good place to
start the journey.

I've often noticed in my 78 years that "success" in
"real-life" often leads to real obstacles on the
spiritual path.

Maybe a better perspective might be rather an "avowed
atheist" might become a better atheist if they include
the Bible in their daily diet.

Probably wouldn't hurt, especially if they are a really
dedicated atheist intent on living a really meaningful
and productive life.

Your thoughts?

I found the book of proverbs appealing even before I
gave my life to Christ Jesus ... such good and pithy
statements about the hazards in the road of life and
about "free will" so-called ... no Calvinism for me
thank you just the same and the OT is quite
informational also ... the LORD loves those who love him

... the LORD loves those who love him

...the Lord is "love" personified.

That explains a lot.

What I don't really understand is where "hate" enters
the picture, seems a little bit out of place.
