If this was in reply to Joe's post, keep in mind the Buddha did not consider himself to be a God or to be worshipped, rather encouraged people to think and question for themselves. He asked different questions than Biblical ones, received different answers then required different behaviors of his followers. |

In a very real way, Buddhism-hinduism is idol worship. If people use the spiritual spirit of Buddha for answers, – their response from the spiritual Buddha most likely comes from a familiar or counterfeit spirit. While in the San Francisco bay area in the 1970s, I noticed that many asians from Buddhist lands like Vietnam and the Philippines had strong bisexual vibes. This was especially prevalent after vietnamese immigrants were transported from vietnam to the US, after the Vietnam war around 1975. I did a couple days of temporary work at World Airways in Oakland, CA, when planeloads of vietnamese refugees were flown to Oakland. It was about this time (which included blacks being bus-ed from the deep South), that a spirit of fear seemed to pervade Oakland. Before that, Oakland was a fairly nice city to live in. Although blacks and mexicans showed outward criminal violence, – buddhist- spirited asians avoided criminal violence, but had strong bisexual vibes that could affect many others. Most of those buddhist-spirited asians had high academic achievements, and so were able to get good jobs, instead of resorting to physical violence. However, their vibes through occult osmosis most likely caused a lot of social problems, such as domestic violence, sexual deviation, divorce, etc. That goes back to why God in the bible vehemently commanded the faithful, to put away idolatry and worshipping false gods. From the bible – Exodus 1:1-5 – start of the 10 commandments And God spake all these words, saying, I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. It was not to Joe's post it was for another. I have taken a college course on world religions and yes I remember that you say regarding Buddha. Buddha is not the only one who encouraged questions and who did not encourage worship of himself and all things he said are not written down though can be received through him spiritually plus there are other things he said that are not in a "canon" of an organized religion. All truth comes from one source and that is the source of all truth. Some truths though are not necessarily about spiritual growth in the highest sense and pertain only to worldly things. |
