Our forfathers separated church and state after
witnessing the religious persecutions that occurred in
England.
You apparently believe that God wants this country to
return to religious persecutions.
That would be the end result of the US becoming a
theocracy.
Take a good look at the the religious bloodletting in
England and the rest of Europe and explain to me how God
wants that for us.

Dan the issue may be more related to a simple choice
related to recognize the truth and act judiciously and
live or side with the deception act imprudently and
die... and many are confused rather than mindful in
regards to the truth... some will say the truth
according to whom ... or there is no truth just what
some will to have and do... but well there is the truth
and actin judiciously or acting foolishly

I understand what you are saying. However, the religious
right has been endeavoring to take over this country and
turn it into a Christian theocracy since the eighties.

Flynn's statement is the first that I am aware of that a
political figure speaking to that idea out loud.
That religious faction that supports Trump and
conspiracy theories seem to be openly jumping on board.
We have been in a Constitutional crisis. This only
illuminates and magnifies the direction these people
would like to take us. It is a significant percentage,
by my way of thinking. And it should not be ignored.

This is one of many anti democratic threats that we are
dealing with in this country.
