Of the varied news sources I check daily, along with the facts and
good sources of proactive choices people can make to stay safe
from the Covid-19 virus, I see news about wonderful human
outreach. Neighbor helping neighbor, strangers helping those in need
need, communities reaching out to each other in beautiful ways.
Honoring those who serve and sacrifice for us. Neighborhoods
clapping their appreciation. People lifting spirits in song. Helping
each other get through each day. My special favorite are those
normally busy parents who are usually wrapped up in the daily grind,
relaxing and taking time with their kids, playing together, being silly.
Being creative. I am seeing in the news that amidst the terrible
sobering of the current facts about the virus, humanity is lifting each
other up, strong people carrying the weaker ones and pushing
forward to better times. The news I watch and listen to and read has
helped me by giving both facts and hope. The kind of balance God
would be happy for his children to have. If you are not receiving
such messages, change the channel, turn the page. As in 9-11 the
human spirit rises.

The speaker in the video preached that the media was only telling
people negative things to create fear about the virus . I pointed out
that I watch and read and listen to a variety of sources and I find
many positive stories of people helping people and not at all fear
mongering. Did you forget what was on the video that you posted?
Making a jab at libs and humanism is a pretty weak rebuttal,
especially pertaining to the point of your post.
Are you one of those that say a liberal, a democrat, can’t be a
believer? I choose to follow the path and teachings of Jesus not the
Pharisees. In this pandemic, I see many people walking in the
footsteps of Jesus and helping their neighbor, helping strangers. Yes,
humans doing good things for the right reasons.
