Humans are to keep the garden being we have dominion and were created for the keeping of the garden of life....if we disobey and try to care for the garden outside of the
true covenant it's bad garden keeping and we are accountable to the Almighty for that. RCC saints who are dead can't do anything but wait for the final judgement.

btw I thought Francis the RCC saint was male? I do like the this which is attributed to Francis, and there are other versions similar:

Nice Eve. Thanks
Thats a keeper.
Gonna print that out and put it up to see every day.
I used to know it by heart, but over the years, as moved away from New Age teachings, forgot about it.
Thanks Eve.

I didn't know that the RCC Francis prayer was considered New Age...so I used the googly moogly thingy to inquire....mighty interesting
thank you for mentioning that...I was not sure in my prior post if it was really the words of St. Francis so that is why I typed "attributed
to".. as I don't know a lot about the teachings of men about his history.

from link:
When was the prayer of St Francis written?

That was written in 1912, in French, and published in a pious magazine edited by Fr Esther Bouquerel. It was attributed to St Francis in
1927 through its having been printed on the back of a picture of the saint.

Another version follows down the page... the way it is worded speaks more to the spirit of pardoning which is an encouraging reminder
not focus on "self" (me-me-me) ...as in not existing for self only but for the well being and health of all creation in appreciation and
thankfulness to the Creator. Maybe it's all in how one thinks about it if it's "new age" or just "is "...after all I feel the proverb is true :"As
a man thinketh in his heart, so is he".
I would change the beginning to be more applicable to how I feel and that would be "Lord, may I
be a bridge in the spirit for your hope and your peace" (actually I could rephrase it all and make it more personally applicable but not
necessary being it's already in my heart in is own living way).

The only prayers I have memorized are "Now I lay me down to sleep I pray the Lord my soul to keep", etc. taught that as a child (don't
know where that came from but probably more recent in history) and also "The Lords Prayer"...and can paraphrase "the Serenity Prayer"
the latter of which I guess is considered a "New Age" teaching also...but again it's all in how one walks the walk how something is
perceived .....I can see if from another perspective and always have than what is considered by many New Age teachings ....while I know
about what that is... it's never been one of my sojourn through this world.

The important thing for me is that I know my Heavenly Father God can take all things and work them together for good because I love him.

It's nice to have customary prayers of other in days gone by that are uplifting in spirit but most of all to me the deepest meaning ones are
the ones that flow with the spirit....Those that are not hindered by reciting rituals... even so God can take all things and use them together
for the good for those who return the love in thankfulness.
