awe is right- I've seen this guy before and taking care of birds. wonderful he could get the poorly one to health. reminds me when I raised chickens of my own, one of the hatchlings was similar to that, but I kept an eye on her, and she pulled thru it. though she was somewhat deformed in feet, legs and body , she got around okay and made it to laying eggs stage. even her eggs she laid were deformed. But she was a good hen.

This fella is so smart when it comes to birds, so gentle...I was so
concerned for the one hatchling and so happy when it turned out
for the best. I really enjoyed the story and appreciate your sharing
