You don't remember Long John Baldry...?

He was one of the early English rockers.. Rod Steward and Elton John were
in his band before they ever had their own..

This tune.. Flying.. I think Rod Steward came out with a later rendition.. but I
never was a fan of Rod's... so I don't recall the details..

But I like the vibe.. the sense of going home.. the sense it's ok.. that melodic
piano.. all will be well.. it's the 19th after all..

thanks...i remember him didn't recognize his image...that is a nice tune...don't know if i ever heard it before...if you look up "flying" + song you just get the beatles...

Here's Rod Stewart/Faces later version... I like Baldry's
version better... ;)

Never had much use for ol' Rod once he left his best niche
(imho) as an excellent blues voice on Jeff Beck's
Truth...will link it in post below... ;)
