Speaking of the emotional qualities.. the vibratory.. the underlying forces at play in song.. G taught through dance.. ballot.. Don Jaun gave us a vision of the vibratory universe in which we are immersed.. the power of our generation's contribution to the musical library can not be overstated. It's alive and well, speaking truth as sure as the sunshine gives life..
Robbie Robertson's music touched me dearly. Of course his work with The Band is legendary, but his 'solo' work reached heights.. some of it kept me dancing for days.. months.. his Music for the Native Americans..
Living in Hawaii and being in love with the native culture.. the window Robbie created into the North American's.. it's a shame history is written by the victors.. So much has been lost to the barbaric naivete of the White Man.

That's such a beautiful, powerful album, I love it too... His Peyote Healing Song from Underworld of Redboy has meant more to me than I can relate in words... I was once briefly engaged to an Apache/Pima medicine man, and I was always brought to tears by the prayer songs he offered in his sweat lodges...it felt as if we were eavesdropping upon his end of the sweetest, tenderest conversation between a small boy who knew himself adored, and those who adore him...how he would speak to elders whose love for him and wise guidance were rocksolid and crystal clear to him, the energy of utter joyous trust and communion within Oneness and, from There, his prayers offered for the wellbeing of each of us, and for All Life... Robbie's sharing of that song holds similar resonances for me, so will always remind me of having beheld that sacred proximity, that field of beauty between himself and those to whom he prayed: Pure trusting, innocent Gratitude, in perfect anticipation of all needs met...
I came across a beautiful Inuit group called Pamyua some years back, will post something from them when I get done here!
How wonderful that you're amidst the blessings of Hawaiian energy and culture... ;)
