“Only he will deserve the name of “man” and can count
upon anything prepared for them from above, who has
already acquired corresponding data for being able to

I read picked that book up somewhere in the summer of
1969 and that passage stuck in my head ... that's it
... that's life ... you must be kind to people ... but
you have to also beware of people ... it is a fine line
and I've developed what I refer to as my "bullshit
filter" over the years and at age seventy-nine I have
it fairly fine tuned to detect the froward and abtuse
... I pity the foolish for their foolishness ... there
is only one that I love and fear and he has added years
to my life because I love and fear him ... that is the
key to fine living ... to attain one's full potential
is to reckon with him and to please him and to serve
him ... that is now my whole life's work ... to make
myself acceptable to him

but the Holy Bible is the only book I consistently read
and find value in ... all those books on that list were
preparation for my life's work ... fiction when I was a
boy ... science fiction when I was a very young man ...
and the esoteric in middle age ... but since the summer
of 1997 my true love has been the good book ... OT and
NT ... I see all of us in it ... the good, the bad, and
the ugly ... and each of us has a piece of that in us
... I see myself as Job ... all the medical problems ...
but now I've mostly overcome my torture and find the
vegan diet suits me greatly

and there is this one new book I would add

trust me ... this guy was on to something

his book is "The Key" and it is aptly titled

all the words he found are Hebrew words

and there is a concentration of those words in the
headwaters of the Mississippi
