In 1967 I saw her show, knew little about her music, but her performance was stunning, it was a watershed moment in my life, a gift from an ancient goddess through her art. She moved, sang and projected from another dimension. For years when tempted to shrink I would remember her and generate the courage to make the effort one more time. Peope remember her for her performances, I think they were a minor expression of a great spirit. Nam myoho renge kyo, sister. |

I'm enjoying imagining Tina being shown, on the Other Side, each & every instance in which all she gave of herself inspired, encouraged, supported and held the Light for soooo many women struggling on so many levels, including me... Savoring how astonished she must be in such a wonderful way... ;) My heart is with (((everyone))) grieving the loss of her in this world, and celebrating her Homecoming into the next... |

When I lived near St. Louis in the latter 90's and heard she was going to be there for one night...I remember it was the only concert of anyone really I felt I wanted to attend...A girl friend went with me and we drove two hours there and two hours back...long drive didn't care it was Tina after all. I think it was called "The Wildest Dreams" tour. I looked it up online and it seems Cindy Lauper was the other act with her but I don't remember Cindy's performance at all cause I was there for Tina. My favorite that I waited for was "Proud Mary"...I remember her silvery dress same as in the clip when I found it.
