...IMO, Dior failed in the construction of
Prince Harry's three piece suit which he
wore to the Coronation.
It appeared that the material for each of
the pieces of the three piece suit may
have come from three different dye lots,
or worse yet, the three pieces of the suit
seemed to be cobbled together from three
different suits.
The design of the vest evoked an immediate
face wrinkling grimace for me, as it
seemed so inappropriately paired with the
tailed suit jacket.
Lastly, Harry's trousers seemed poorly
tailored, because rather than hang
effortlessly from the belt to the cuff,
they seem to bunch and wrinkle as he
walked.
I am not blaming Harry, as he has a
strong, upright frame and should be an
easy subject for whom a good tailor could
create a masterpiece, such that he would
looked "dressed to the nines".
IMO, Dior made a mistake by posting to the
world that they created the disaster Harry
wore to that all important event.
