Bandstand, no Mickey Mouse Club, no Our
Gang, etc.
Then there was the Kennedy assassination,
the Vietnam War, etc.

It was similar to today, on the outside
looking in. No Kardashian lifestyle, no
Soul Train, no Black-ish, etc. (Actually
it's no longer a TV world, but now an
influencer world with all of us looking
in.) Then there was the Iraq/Afghanistan
Wars, BLM/ANTIFA's rioting and killing,
etc.

repeats itself, but it does often rhyme."

Having 2- older siblings I was very aware of the 50’s music. Could, & still
can sing any of the oldies but goodies. As young as 7-8 yrs old
