Aha! Caught an ancient ER episode yesterday, the one where
Dr. Green dies...and I remembered how much I loved the
version of Over the Rainbow played during the ending, when
it first aired... Then I think yourself and maybe someone
else posted his YouTube here, some time back, and I
remember how struck I was by it...

...but I didn't connect until I saw that rerun that it was
Israel's version they were playing, that his was that
voice... ;) Such a special energy... ;)

Yes, posted his version some years back and again. My
Mom's birthday anniversary and passing are coming up this
March. I think of her often as I do Israel Z. I'm so glad
they both left the planet so they'd not have to suffer
with all this crazy stuff. Mom's ashes were scattered off
Oregon coast, in a basket with flowers. Israel Z's were
cast upon the Hawaiian waters with flowers. As a child I
use to sing the old version often but I like this version
best.
