Have you ever been haunted by a song?
About 51 years ago I would often sit in and sing with a group from Mexico City, in a restaurant in Chinatown L.A.
The lead singer sang one song that wove spells around my heart that never left.
I never heard it done by another until I watched a movie on Netflix(?) where it was played in a wedding scene.
Previous searches had been fruitless and the name a bit off from my recall, but finally I found it a couple days ago, first on Spotify and then in downloadable sheet music.
Of all people apparently Engelberg Humperdink sang it, and in the movie Jimmy Fontana.
It's still weaving spells around my heart, and my neighbors may learn to hate it in inverse proportion, but Il Mondo and I have a long relationship of soaring spirit and I am beyond thrilled to be able to play it whenever I choose.

This is so very beautiful Jeff. I love to hear these guys sing! In any language! Made my day a bit better. Took me away!
