i saw him once in minneapolis...snuck out of work at the grain elevator...an amazing performer and an amazing musician...he wore an orange jumpsuit with pockets sewn all over it, with bells, whistles and whatever stuffing them all...

He looks like a real character, presenting his
show with great seriousness. I like him!

So you lived in Minneapolis! My immigrant
ancestors settled in New Market, just south of
there. Still have relatives all over Minnesota,
but never met any of them! LOL

he was born "normal"...but a nurse put the wrong drops in his eyes and he lost his sight...he got way into the coke later in his career...he was also a master of circular breathing...he could hold a note forever...he had a dream and was told he should add rahsaan to his name...he was a one-off...
