I am used to bluegrass and mandolins...maybe it's on account of
where I grew up...I used to have a banjo, my stepfather purchased
it for me ...I love the sound of a banjo and he knew that and he
used to play one in his youth so passing a music store one day he
saw it in a window, went in and brought it to me for my birthday.

p.s. okay not mandolins so much, memory blip....but sometimes I
have, but is rare so you so no surprise you have not heard the
mix. I can't recall exactly myself.

blurred my memory....thanks David ...lol...(I need to go get some
shut eye)...I forgot how many kinds of mandolin's there

Wow never seen one of those before.Still has the
banjo sound but would be interesting to hear some
traditional european style mandolin music played
on it...
