I also see a bridge support
crookef and about to fail seemed
to be in a city with lots of
hills and was recently inspected
after being repaired.
The last thing I was told was if
you think you are not in a target
area, think again and stay alert,
unless ypu agreed to leave this
way

The end of Santa Cruz's largest pier, 150 long, fell into the ocean today. It was undergoing evaluations for structural repairs. 3 workers who took a mid-day dip in the ocean were rescued.
Santa Cruz harbor got hit with major waves, sinking some boats and damaging many others (more at link).
It looks like this storm surge caused more damage that when the tsunami hit.

Yeah, just posted about that on another board. I grew up
in that area and have a lot of memories attached to the
wharf there.
I'm also glad the three were okay. I heard they were
inspectors...and I gather it did not pass the
inspection!
I do hope they repair, rebuild and reopen eventually.
The wharf has so much history there.

well that all certainly doesn't make me feel any better!!
I have also gotten the clear direction to stay out of the
fray and to not allow all the despair from various events
get inside me. I'm doing my best to keep my attention on
all good things. I will definitely not be going anywhere
with many people. The red feels of course like Christmas
and perhaps some sort of stage production or choir all
wearing red. I know the astrology for Christmas week is
bonkers. May we all be kept out of harm's way. Praying.
