At least it seemed as though the city was London. Was
in a town with a house of old beams and nice
furnishings, as well as modern buildings. Fire was
consuming the city, (as an observer felt no fear) went
to a beach, there were no people, no boats, understood
that as no escape.
Allegory that our financial system is collapsing?

Interesting. I had a dream recently where I was looking
at what I knew was the central 4 miles of the city of
London. It had been nuked. Just dust, smoke, ashes. felt
like in the pretty near future.
Now, the chances of world war 3 starting, then quickly
escalating to bombing London, I'd say are remote, at
least in the near future! On waking, I realised, that
area is the financial district, what they call the "City"
area. (I used to live in London, for 18 years ...... it's
ALL financial offices, there, in the centre). So I feel
it was symbolism, of a big financial collapse, worse than
2008, like the Wall St. Crash of 1929. Matches with your
dream, doesn't it?

Yes. It matches with your dream very well.
There were too many disparate visuals for my dream to
be anything but symbolic.
I think it does portend a collapse, perhaps in
progress. The BRICS challenge & Islamic nations are
powerful opponents.
Add in derivatives, the economy's a paper fort. Ashes,
ashes all fall down.

Wow mitra! The first thing I thought of was the London Bridge burning in
1666. Then I read it started on Sunday Sept 2! The timing is interesting.
Maybe a repeat of history? Thanks for sharing.

Eve, what calendar was being used in 1666? Wikipedia , Britannica
encyclopedia, History, BBC, and even the national archives for the UK
government, they all says the fire started on Sunday Sept 2, 1666, but all
the calendars I have seen ( I was looking at the moon cycle for that date) it
shows Sept 2, 1666 was on a Thursday not Sunday.

I don't follow politics close enough to know what Biden
said to union workers on 9/3. I keep up well enough but I
don't go out of my way plus I don't have a t.v. (on
purpose or a cell phone, etc. I skim some headlines,
sometimes look on National board here and sometimes I
don't).

Hi sher...I had a thought to look into Julian calendar for September 1666 and found a link with info....The second of September on the Julian calendar that year was on a
Sunday.
On the Julian calendar of 2024 September 2nd is on a the RCC Gregorian September 15th which is a Sunday in 2024.
(2024 is a leap year while 1666 was not)

I just remembered a dream from last month I didn't post,
about seeing a plane crash into lake havasu...I don't
remember the detail of the dream, just thought it strange
as it was a huge white and possibly blue
airliner...London bridge is at lake havasu Arizona...
