I totally understand the context of sharing synchronicities that arise in
dreams, feeling to compare them and sense into how they might point to
potential outpicturings in real life… I really do… it can feel like
something’s making itself known in that way…
And at the same time, that unavoidably translates to a high volume of
posts…and I’m wondering if everyone remembers that Ryan pays for the
bandwidth we use here? No, I don’t think it’s an extreme hardship, as he
stopped taking donations toward it…but I mention this because I don’t
think he’s coming from such a cranky-old man, uninviting energy about
this, just trying to gently remind that while I think it was always clear that
the Groans board could get high-volume, with people comparing
symptoms, I don’t think that was intended for this board, and he’d rather
not take it in that direction…
My apologies to anyone if I’m butting in, but I just don’t feel the spirit of
the boundaries he’s trying to draw are quite as personal or uninviting as
seems to be being interpreted, by suggesting you might trade email
addys for that type of sharing flow…

Maybe to offer some reassurance on your thoughtfulness
on this issue:
My understanding is that for purely text based forums
like this, space is actually quite cheap these days.
Even counting the pictures folks sometimes post, I
don't think we'd be going over more than a few
megabytes per month at most, and we're in an era where
even gigabytes are no more than a couple of $ a month.
Now whatever company backs this space and forums might
have different personal pricing policies, but if we're
looking purely at space (as separate from the company
behind the forums of this type), we're looking, I'd
assume, at not more than 50 cents to a dollar per
month.
I'm of mixed opinion on my personal opinion on the
short-answer-many-post dialogues, as I do feel like
they add to the clutter and I do get tired of scrolling
through on some days, especially if it's on my phone.
But sometimes those short answers are more insightful
and easier to digest than a much longer post. (not to
mention on the rare occasions I do get involved in the
back and forth I'm just as guilty, though I'll grant
most of my responding posts don't contribute to insight
on the things that matter :-/ ).

Awen, I voiced what I did to Eve and sher toward hoping to
encourage their seeing Ryan's boundary here as not being so
personally intended, because that is my own perception of
it. I am not privy to the details of the agreement with the
server he uses, and I only mentioned that as one possible
factor...other than the attitude being projected onto him,
which is why I took a chance on posting about it, which I
now wish I hadn't... I wasn't trying to open a discussion
about this, and I'd appreciate if it ended here... ;)

not a bandwidth issue...more about cluttering up the board with what amounts to chit-chat, that makes it hard to see other posts which may be more useful or relevant...a lot of dreams and "prophecy" are interesting, especially to the dreamer, but if they are not helpful in a timely and concise fashion they are not very useful, if you get my drift...

Well...it's for whatever you say it's for, Mr. Bopp, as
it's your space... ;)
But...okay, I'd noted that I understand what you're
characterizing as "chit-chat" as Eve and sher (and
sometimes others) discussing and comparing various
synchronicities and similarities each was receiving in
dreams...which would, yes, unavoidably result in a
million posts...
I understand your point, as well, that there are only so
many posts visible at any given time...and those who are
posting about dreams more along lines of what you're
saying could have a challenging time
following/discussing, with so many other posts...
And I guess I mostly wanted to try and dissuade those
seeing your position as being so snarky and uninviting,
and personal to them, because I've observed so many here
misunderstanding and taking your stance personally...
...which was ridiculous of me, so I apologize again...

Seconding Ryan's no need for apology.
You posted with your heart in the right place and with
good intentions. I just posted to offer reassurance.
We need more of your kinds of posts on the forum, not
less.
That said, per your request and in the spirit of Ryan's
comment about chit chat and board clutter, this'll be
my last comment on this thread.
Just wanted to reassure that all is well and you did

Oy, bit of a spazz here for me, and I appreciate your
kind words... Your intention toward conscious self-
awareness is always evident in your posts, and it's
wonderful to see, thank you...
The moment I posted what I did, I thought better of it
but...too late, and I knew it'd be worse if I tried to
say anything else...lol... So when you responded, my
brain kind of exploded...lol...so that'd be what you felt
between the lines of my words, if you did! And I'm sorry
for that...
As I explained to Mr. Bopp, the intention behind what I
was so wanting/wishing those who see him so harshly and
critically on this site to...see him differently and, to
my eye, more accurately...and how ridiculous is that?
Right? lol As if he, of all people, needs anyone to help
others see him... *eyeroll* ;) Everything and everyone
lies (for better or worse!) squarely in the eye of the
beholder, always, and imagining otherwise is pure
human/egoic folly...lol...
Sher, if you're reading this, no, I've never read
anything from you that says you saw our host this way,
particularly; I was just aware of your feeling hurt and
dismissed, and I know that wasn't Mr. Bopp's intention,
so...enter my misplaced gesture. Eve, I know you see most
of us as hopelessly caught in illusion, and by your words
could tell you saw Mr. Bopp's energy toward you as
*uninviting* so, again...here comes me, the bull in the
china shop trying to hold up a different context... ;)

showing enormous restraint, Mr. Bopp...I'm just the eejit
imagining that any input or clarification *from me* could
