Subject: Chinese Masquerade Ball

Dreamed of a Chinese Masquerade Ball for a long time last night. At times it seemed like a dress rehearsal for a movie. At times it seemed the masquerade was the real essence or nature of the masked ones...many strange masks and costumes. I woke up slightly in the dream and wondered why I was having such a strange dream. I have never heard of a Chinese Masquerade Ball before but when I looked it up online it seems it is an event some participate in.

I sounds a bit eerie. Did it feel “dark”? I found this also. I think it is currently on display at the Los Angeles County Art Museum? Not sure. FWIW Here’s an interesting connection also? The art work is on display in Los Angeles and the closing ceremony has Olympic flag being handed over to Los Angeles Mayor… Excerpt “Viewers can expect the usual parade of athletes, a display of the participating nations’ flags and the lowering of the Olympic flag. A portion of the closing ceremony is dedicated to the host city handover from Paris to Los Angeles, in which Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo will give the Olympic flag to Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass” |

I was viewing the clip of the closing ceremony today the part where the Mayor of Los Angeles received the Olympic Flag....where Tom Cruise took it from her after an ariel stunt and jumped on a motorcycle and somehow got on a helicopter (missing that part in the clip (?) ended up in Los Angeles and gave the Olympic flag to performers on stage and they sang (?) Again missing that part on youtube have yet to find it but that is what seemed like happened. I also saw a singer or band called H.E.R. at the Paris Olympics closing ceremony sing "The Star Spangled Banner" prior to viewing the clip with the Mayor of Los Angeles and Tome Cruise and straightaway the memory of the incoming song "Rhinestone Cowboy" returned. Yeah, I saw the quake also. This solar has hit me hard today. You can see downtown Los Angeles from Highland Park , as it sits up at the base of the foothills, at least you could when I was a kid especially on a clear day. I haven’t looked at the epicenter. China and USA tied also with 40 gold medals each. I found that interesting in light of your dream. Thanks Eve! Take care of yourself! P.S. I woke yesterday morning also hearing an old song (Didn’t post because I’m kind of cautious about posting too much). “Though we have to say good bye for the summer”… funny when I had posted about hearing “Donovan” last month, there is someone by the name Jason Donovan that did a remake of the song. Never heard of him. When I read about the closing ceremony today , it’s was entitled I think in the same sense as the song? |

Another connection to the song yesterday morning , Donovan and this dream, end of summer Olympic, is my hearing the Cars “Magic” song the same morning the lead singer had passed away. Which always reminds me of MC Young’s “Uncle George and Beverly Hills “ dream. I had made a mistake in the posting and said Newport/Hayward fault , not Newport/Inglewood fault. A “Freudian “ slip??? Because my “Skylark Park Quake” dream would be the Hayward fault, up north. Date: September 18, 2021 at 14:13:18 From: sher Subject: Cars Magic song…Beverly Hills quake? On the morning of Sept 15, 2019 , the song “Magic” by the cars kept playing over and over in my head, especially the line “summer, summer, summer “, the end of summer is how I felt it? That afternoon the lead singer of the group “Cars” passed away. I found the video for that song was recorded in Beverly Hills, Ca. I really felt strongly there was a connection to the Newport/Hayward fault. Then a month later the small swarms started in the Carson Ca area. Yesterday they started again. So maybe a heads up? Posting for the record. |
