I don’t remember much of my dreaming other than dreaming I was in a backyard somewhere in a jungle/forested area. It had a large off white flagstone type open patio and the perimeter was tall grasses? There was a large open fire pit surrounded by low wooden bleached chairs. It was “my” home in the dream. Everywhere in the backyard were dozens of cats. They were all the same pattern and color. A mixture of grey tabby like print but rust and cream areas. The fur was medium to long and they had pointier ears than domestic cats. The faces were more broad also. I perceived they were taking shelter in my yard from something? I was asking them “ where did you come from? How many are there?” Then I saw a large off white grass woven basket sitting on one of the chairs and I saw a cat in there cleaning and sleeping with a chicken!? I only saw the white head and red comb. The comb was large, so a rooster. Then I saw another one in another chair in a basket with a dove it had hunted. I said if I’m to take care of you there will be no killing of my birds in the yard. Then I woke. So here comes the telling part. I looked up the cats in my dream and they are called pampas cats. A wild cat of South America. They are also called a Colocolo cat. Colocolo is a mythical creature that is half snake with a rooster head!!! And pampas is a grass almost like a type of fountain grass. Maybe something regarding Chile soon??? |

fwiw, not to change the topic but I thought my 3 dream thread and thought you may miss it due to length....I went to see if this kind of cat you dreamed of pampas is at Big Cat Rescue but found they moved late December 2023...I posted on it in the three dreams thread regarding the 2nd dream. |

FWIW, ALL the cats in my dream looked very similar to the pampa (Colocolo) cat in this photo at link. I knew they were of the same “family line “. The fact that a rooster and grass was in the dream I know it’s the correct animal. This cat was photographed in La Pampa Argentina. |

Maybe it's a reference to be on the look out for something Chile or Argentina (?) just a guess...interesting dream. |

Oh my. That song's been running non-stop in my head for most of this last week. Looping. Along with an abysmal sadness. And today 'seeing' a huge chunk of bare rock break off of a sheer cliff and fall into water. So maybe it isn't meant for just me. |
