He was a GREAT singer, wasn't he! I still get some of his songs coming into my head, even today. They were so simple, but so beautiful. I happened to see Donovan in the 70'S at the Forum in LA. He opened for a Neil Young. This song reminds me of Mt Tehama, that collapsed in on it's magma pool, then Lassen Peak grew up on it's northeast flank. |
