On Nov 16, 2023 I had a very strange dream with Bob Dylan as a new born baby boy my son was holding . The face on the baby was a scowling face of Bob Dylan as a young man. It was very strange. But it stayed heavy on my heart for a week or more. Roselyn Carter entered into hospice on Nov 17, 2023 and passed on Nov 19, 2023. I posted this on Nov 27, 2023. Bob Dylan’s last concert for the year was on Dec 3, 2023 at the Old National Theater in Evansville Indiana. The last day of Ramadan is April 9, 2024 and the great eclipse of April 8 passes over Evansville Indiana. The baseball theme ties into the connection with Bob Dylan and Carter and my “happy birthday “ dream with real life birthdays wishes for Queen Victoria, Pricilla Presley ( Elvis and rhinestones), Fahrenheit, Dylan and Carter mention on radio on June 10. As well as T. Swifts incident in Scotland and Evansville college Baseball team. Bob Dylan sold his beloved “Victorian” mansion in Scotland , in Dec 2023 around the same time he was performing in Evansville Indiana, his last show of the year. So June 23 is on my radar now! It is the “Taylorville” venue at the Old National theater in Evansvilles Indiana. |

June 27th = "Happy Birthday to You" Day It's been translated into at least two dozen languages, and Guinness World Records once called it the most recognizable song in English. Chances are you know it by heart and it has been sung to you as well. What is it? It's "Happy Birthday to You," of course! Although today is commonly celebrated as the anniversary of the song's publication, it likely wasn't published on today's date. Rather, today is the birthday of the woman who wrote the song's melody, and that is the real reason why today is "Happy Birthday to You" Day. A composer and educator, Mildred Hill was born on today's date in 1859. She wrote the melody to "Good Morning to All," a greeting song written to be used in a classroom setting. Her sister, a kindergarten teacher named Patty Smith Hill, wrote the lyrics that accompanied it. Together, the sisters wrote many songs, and they tried them out in Patty's classroom. They published their songs in the 1893 book, Song Stories for the Kindergarten. The lyrics to "Good Morning to All" were as follows: Good morning to you Good morning to you Good morning dear children Good morning to all The song gained popularity in schools in the late nineteenth century. By 1911, the lyrics that are used in "Happy Birthday to You" were being sung with the melody. The melody was published with the new lyrics in The Golden Book of Favorite Songs in 1915, and in Harvest Hymns in 1924. It began appearing on the radio and in sound films as well after they debuted in 1927. It also appeared in the musicals The Band Wagon in 1931, and As Thousands Cheer in 1933. Up until this point, no royalties were paid, and the song was used freely by whoever pleased. A third sister, Jessica Hill, filed a lawsuit in 1934, and since the song had the melody of "Good Morning to All," she was able to get a copyright for it. Jessica worked with the Clayton F. Summy Company, and they published the song the following year and credited Mildred and Patty Hill as the song's authors. Later in the 1930s, the company was purchased and renamed Birch Tree Ltd. In 1988, it was bought by Warner Chappell, the publishing division of Warner Music Group. Hill's copyright was initially to last until 1991 but was then extended and supposed to last until 2030. Warner Chappell earned about 2 million dollars a year in royalties. They had to be paid royalties in order for the song to be used in films and at parades, concerts, or in any public place. Restaurants often had their own "happy birthday" songs so they didn't have to pay Warner Chappell. Many people believed that the song should be in the public domain since it wasn't actually known who wrote the lyrics. Filmmaker Jennifer Nelson filed a lawsuit against Warner Music in 2013, and a US Federal judge ruled that Warner Music didn't have a valid copyright. In 2016, Warner Music had to give up their copyright, and the song became public domain. Today the song can once again be sung freely, which makes today's holiday easy to celebrate! --How to Observe "Happy Birthday to You" Day-- Celebrate the day by singing "Happy Birthday to You"! You could insert Mildred's name into the song since today would have been her birthday. Sing the song when you are walking down the street or down the aisles at the grocery store. If you are at a restaurant and it is someone's birthday, make sure to join in on "Happy Birthday to You," to help them celebrate. You could also sing Mildred and Patty's "Good Morning to All" as well, and tell people the story behind "Happy Birthday to You." If it is your birthday today, then this is an extra special day for you. |

I just realized that the English nursery rhyme that popped into my head while reading the article about the bug being swallowed by Taylor Swift, that was the only line I remembered , but the poem ends with the horse, and Princess Anne was injured by a horse. So very sad because horses were always her passion. I hope she recovers! |

You might want to look into the history of Angel Mounds, this archaeological site is in Evansville, Indiana. I have been through this place a few times spent the night there once passing through but never knew of the mounds till later. There's a different sort of vibe to the area...I was just thinking about it recently. I read something somewhere about giants and maybe some remains of them found but that info is often covered up and more challenging to find. |

Wow Eve! I never knew this! How interesting. I found a video on it and watched it. There are a lot of mounds in Indiana. I’ve been to serpent mound in Ohio. I only felt a strong connection to a cedar tree that was growing in the third loop? In the mound area itself. I also encountered a man dressed all in buckskin on what I thought was a foot path below where there is a landing that looks out over a ridge. I looked down and saw him in the dappled sunshine in the trees. Then I realized we were up in the tree tops and it was a straight down drop about 60 feet! With no foot path. It was really strange and surreal. |

hi under rock and roll I made some thought to the eclipse as it too goes right over New Madrid area of MO, and Evansville IN. my thought is the real Mid-Continent fault line goes through both areas. from El Paso TX to the St. Lawrence River valley, on out to the Baja Peninsula. much of it starts with the Iceland Mid-Atlantic rift volcanoes, and the earthquake swarms South of there. the last eclipse went directly over the same area of the Mississippi. but NW to the SE near Nashville TN. X marks the spot.... |
