I woke to a vision of a majestic ancient gnarled oak tree, then I saw a
beautiful large sequoia tree standing tall in a springtime sky and the sun
shining to the right. It’s crown was full and a beautiful dark green. It was
off on its own . Behind it and to the left were more sequoia trees with full
green crows, rows upon scattered rows! It was so beautiful and moving!

I was going to post this on Thursday May 23, 2024 but I forgot. I had a
flash vision upon waking of this ancient oak tree again but this time was
told it was a “California oak”?… No Sequoia trees this time, just the oak.

Yes I saw it-- it reminded me of the giant oaks I grew
up with in San Diego. I used to climb them- and loved
one in particular. It was my castle.

Thanks kay for your input! I hope you are doing better! We shared our
property when we lived in Frazier Park with a beautiful old oak. It was
probably close to 250 years old . It was the largest oak I had ever seen. Its
canopy was at least 80 ft. I had a dream over 30 years ago where people
started coming up on to the property and taking shelter there. To escape
from some catastrophe. I often wonder if there’s a message to that. Take
care and hugs to you!

here is a poem for you, a rough draft...:-)

Ode to a tree

Oh ancient one,
you stand before me
with your branches spreading wide,
tall and magnificent.
The stories you could tell me
of times gone by.
How many people have passed by
and you have seen their lives,
filled with hope,and struggle?
Oh ancient one,
will you still be standing
when my time on earth is done?
Will you bear witness
to a future filled with love,
or one struggling to survive?
Oh ancient one,
may I sit under your shelter
and hear your stories,
of your past, the present,
and your hopes and dreams?
Can I go back in time
and see you as a seedling,
new green leaves sprouting
from fertile grounds?
Were there older oaks
that sheltered you,
protecting from the winters’
snow, and colder times?
Do you wonder as I do,
where they have gone,
and how many new lives
have they started?
Oh ancient one,
can I share my hopes
and dreams with you,
knowing you are listening,
as gentle breezes
flutter through your leaves?
As the hues of sunset
spread through the skies,
I see the glitter of gold,
and fuchsia reflected in your glory.
Squirrels chatter and scurry,
into their cozy homes
which you provide so freely.
I smile and my heart opens
as such thoughts
meander through my mind,
and give thanks for all you have been.

Oh kay! That was so beautiful and filled my heart with longing! I love being
next to and touching these trees! The connection of the root system under
the soil vibrates with life! I pray for these trees. My great uncle passed a
few days ago. So I was inspired to write a poem also😢 I will share it with
you!!!❤️

Heart
By sle

Fractured cracks
in a crystal case
that once was clean
and clear...
It stands the test
of phantom time
with radiance now
made pure...
to light the bloom
still cupped inside
to shine with
brilliant hue
a gem stressed with
bruising strength
forms beauty
rare and true...
Light that moves
like a burning flame
upon an unknown course
does not consume
but only tames
for love is its
true source

The ancient oak was a very wide large grey stump with multiple twisted
branches. For some reason it is connected to me and my old, old
California roots.

I have pictures of one from a friends property which has the oldest one in that country. The limbs are so big and so heavy, some had to be propped up, it is awesome! My friend who lived there has 'gone' now, but the tree is still standing. love the visual in your dream of the trees, I take lots and lots of shots of trees!

Thanks kay for your memories! How beautiful. I LOVE the sequoia trees
and the California oaks! Like Pam, they were a huge part of my childhood.
My family at one time owned most of Rosemead. I like Pam grew up in the
foot of the San Gabriel Mountains and mount San Rafael. According to our
family tree, Sequoia Guess is a great, great, etc. uncle of mine. This vision
has come at a time when I needed it! I wanted to share it because it
carries much hope! Hope you are doing well!

now for a poem about the sequoias too, hmmmm

(and this body is trying so hard to heal from so much, just taking day by day facing the challenges and trying to keep a positive attitude, like the tree :-)

Thank you Pam! I hope you are feeling better and the swelling is going
down. Didn’t you grow up in the tujunga area and the San Fernando
valley? You know how those trees make me feel. You can relate to it. Like
many others here on the boards that grew up in California. I usually don’t
like posting (religious) stuff, but I was given a verse upon waking from this
dream regarding the oak. Take care💕

I grew up in San Diego--in the country and near the
seaside. Lots of Oak forests in the country there
I was already married with children in San Fernando/Los
Angeles areas. Swelling has been still been at it, cuz
allergic to my blue pill thyroid. Trying my best to get
the dr to listen to me.
