Subject: Old dream, Pamela's sky quake reminded me of it! |

I looked in the archives and couldn’t find the dream. But I had a copy
in my records. For some reason this dream about the strange land
“boat” reminded me of Noah’s ark???

Subject: Octagon shape coming out of the sun, houseboat, and
music...
Okay...this was weird dreaming just before waking
and not much I can remember but three or four things
that stood out...first It started with me looking at
a beautiful blue sky...it was clear and crisp and
looked to be the color of the afternoon sky, but the
sun was up high...around the sun emanating from it?
were crystal clear like patterns almost like looking
at a snowflake under a microscope...but the pattern
was octagon and no line touched the other...and it
went out further and further until it blanketed the
whole sky...I said to the "people"??? this is
nothing like earthquake clouds, but no one else saw
it...it was calming to me for some reason and I was
not afraid...then I am in a houseboat and I am
taking care of a very large family on this houseboat
but I was in charge of them?...it is very old and
run down...I am in a small galley like kitchen
trying to wash dishes, but I stop because they are
all asleep and it is not the time to wake them?...I
go out of the kitchen and to a deck area to turn on
a tall metal silver radio that looks more like a
cabinet and play jazz music...I turn it down low
because there are more people sleeping below and it
is still not the time to wake them...then I see to
my right, off the side of the boat a very large
three stories tall strange vehicle moving slowly
across the land coming toward the boat..the vehicle
has pod like compartments that rise up in two
layers...I see two loving couples, a man and a woman
one couple in a pod on the front right and another
loving couple in a pod on the front left, they are
holding each other and smiling.. then in the back
top pods there are three separate pods, a woman
alone in the pod to the left a young man in the
middle and another woman on the right, that I can
not see...the woman on the left is heart broken, I
can see her sad face and I am sad for her too
because she has no one to love? and the man is angry
because he is stuck with these two women???..so
there were seven people all together in this weird
land vehicle..then I woke up...weird...

I just read your post Pam on the music and arts board about the one man
and two women and wow this dream had a bit of clarity! With everything
going on with the sun right now the octagon shape around the sun in my
dream makes me think of a “sky quake “

The mention of “rocket man” song on the music board reminds me of my
“crocodile rock” dream, French chateau and rescuing a woman named
“Mary”… as well as the real life crocodile rock in south of France.
Bernie Taupin wrote both songs?

Subject: Woke at 1:11 am to the song crocodile rock...
I woke just a few minutes ago to crocodile rock playing
in my head...I was dreaming I was with two other people
and we had just rescued a woman who had been
kidnapped...it was night time and we were walking with
her down a sidewalk, it was dirt but at the same time
a sidewalk???...it was in a small countryside town or neighborhood?...the
people who had kidnapped her were driving around looking
for her..so we went around some buildings to the
foundation and steps made of bricks and stones??? of a burnt down
building, behind the other buildings...we climbed the steps and
sat down on a retaining wall...to hide and to wait...then a bunch of
musicians were coming???.I saw three men
come up the steps laughing and talking, I knew they were musicians???
and they
turned to the left and went into the burnt out part of the building that was
remaining...then I took an ear bud
headphone that was white in color and stuck it in my right
ear to listen to music..then woke to the song crocodile rock.... Weird...I
have not heard that song in ages...
now, this is what is weirder....I looked up the history on the song and it
was
recorded in a studio in France at the Chateau d'Herouville....the history of
the studio is interesting
The left wing of the Chateau had burnt down in 1969 and was rebuilt and
made into a recording studio
a lot of famous musicians recorded there...why would I dream about this
Chateau???...

Hi sher, ...Browsing the music history for coming morrow (usual routine
for me) I noted the following remembering your dream and comments this
caught my attention:
July 15, 1972 "Honky Chateau" becomes Elton John's first No. 1 album in
the US, includes hit "Rocket Man"
I thought to share fwiw...even though this album with the hit "Rocket
Man" did not have the song "Crocodile Rock" on it never the less it was
recorded at the same place in France you refer to and has "Rocket Man"
on it, the album is titled "Honky Chateau" (more French connection.
EXCERPT:
Honky Château is the fifth studio album by English musician Elton John. It
was released in 1972, and was titled after the 18th century French
chateau where it was recorded, Château d'Hérouville. The album reached
number one in the US, the first of John's seven consecutive US number
one albums.[1]
Two singles were released worldwide from Honky Château, "Rocket Man"
and "Honky Cat". A third single, "Hercules", was prepared for release, but
this never materialised.[2] This was the final Elton John album on the
Uni label in the US and Canada before MCA consolidated all of its various
labels under the MCA brand. This and John's earlier Uni albums were later
reissued on MCA Records.
In 2003, the album was ranked number 357 on Rolling Stone magazine's
list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. It was revised to number 359 in
2012, and raised to number 251 in a 2020 list.[3] It was certified
gold in July 1972 and platinum in October 1995 by the RIAA.
Music
Honky Château was the first in Elton John's streak of chart-topping
albums in the US, which culminated with 1975's Rock of the Westies.
Writer Stephen Thomas Erlewine described the album as an eclectic
collection
of "ballads, rockers, blues, country-rock, and soul songs."[4]
It was also the first studio album to feature John's road band of Dee
Murray on bass and Nigel Olsson on drums, along with new member Davey
Johnstone on electric and acoustic guitars and other fretted instruments,
as the core group of musicians. Previously, the record label insisted that
John use them for only one track each on Tumbleweed Connection and
Madman Across the Water; the rest of the songs on those two albums
were
performed by session players. Johnstone had played acoustic guitar,
mandolin and sitar on Madman Across the Water, but on Honky Chateau,
he would be invited to join permanently as a full-band member and he
extended
his contributions to electric guitar, banjo, slide guitar and backing vocals.
The opening track "Honky Cat" is a New Orleans funk track reminiscent of
Dr. John and Allen Toussaint, and features a four-piece horn section
arranged by producer Gus Dudgeon. Also of note is the on-record debut
of
the backing vocal combination of Johnstone, Murray and Olsson, who first
added what would soon become their "trademark" sound to "Rocket
Man". The trio's unique approach to arranging their backing vocal tracks
would be a fixture on John's singles and albums for the next several
years.
In 1995, Dudgeon remastered the album, adding only an uptempo, piano-
based, rock and roll version of "Slave", that was originally sidelined in
favour of the slower, guitar-based version on the original LP. This
alternate version was originally due to be released as the B-Side to the
ultimately unreleased "Hercules" single

Eve posted on Music board other day- Rocket Man was co-
written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin and Will
Shatner, also a Jew performed it at the Saturn Awards!
what is also interesting, the man named Michel
Desmarquet, a Frenchman with very heavy French accent
wrote the book I was referring to about where the
Hebrews came from and landed here on Earth. I posted on
Spiritual board as reply to Mitra's post about Jesus
being a Buddhist monk and referred her to the interview
- that Michel Desmarquet did some years ago before his
death. Now, where is my Sky quake dream again? will
have to go look it up- thanks. Lol! so many
connections/coincidences.

I can’t find that sky quake dream! For some reason I thought remember I
read you mentioned San Diego in it though? Not sure but it has always
stuck with me. P.S. I bought a copy of the book this morning to read.

I've been reading the pdf free files on line for couple
of years- finally got a copy of the book this past year.
still cannot find the sky quake dream, oh well.

I went back to see where I read it and I couldn’t find it! I can’t
remember what thread I read it on. But I think you mentioned San
Diego? But in my dream the octagon shape, coming off the sun was
like a ripple effect around the sun and in my dream I perceived it as
similar to earthquake clouds, but it had nothing to do with clouds. If
that makes sense.
