Simchat Torah is a celebratory Jewish holiday that marks the completion of the annual Torah reading cycle. Simchat Torah literally means "Rejoicing in the Law" in Hebrew. The Meaning of Simchat Torah Throughout the year, a set portion of the Torah is read each week..... Now from Jerusalem post oct 6... On Simchat Torah, we celebrate the completion of the annual cycle of Torah reading. Every Shabbat we read one parsha, and on Simchat Torah we read the final portion of the Book of Deuteronomy, Vezot Haberachah, and immediately begin reading the first portion of the Book of Genesis, known as Bereshit. As we celebrate the culmination of the annual Torah reading cycle, communities traditionally engage in hakafot – dancing with and around the Torah scroll. These dances express our relationship with the Torah: The Torah is not a heavy burden for us, nor do we view it as an obligation that disrupts our lives, heaven forbid. On the contrary, we believe that the Torah is a source of happiness and beauty in our lives. Date: September 17, 2007 at 09:49:12 From: MCYoung/Tx, [DNS_Address] Subject: Storm in City Woman in Black Entering Lion on Wall out side This City Monday September 16,2007 8:44PM(Central) This is a Recurring Dream I had First had March 24,2003 (3:00PM - Central)---See Bottom for Illustration of This Dream Vision. I saw a stone wall with an arched entrance to an unknown city. A woman dressed all in black was entering the city as a dark storm was occurring inside the walls. There were dark black clouds and Lightening and high winds occurring as she entered. It was an old ancient looking walled city and the woman was hurrying to get inside. She was wearing a black veil so I did not see her face. The city with its stone walls was very old and I thought to myself this was somewhere in the Middle East. There was a deep sense of urgency about this scene and also an air of great grief and sadness. The dream was the same as the others with one new detail. Upon the outside wall was the face of a Lion...not a piece of art but that of a living Lion and he was looking right at me. He too had an air of deep sorrow about him. The entire dream was actually a vision without any sound. There was one with me but this one remained silent as in the previous dreams of this scene. Over the archway were letters or writing in a language I do not know. Possibly Arabic or Hebrew or something similar. This dream was accompanied by several others previous to it last night. I am planning to post them but wanted to get this one posted as it seemed and actually still does seem urgent. Just prior to waking and as I was still seeing this particular vision; I heard a radio saying there was "Breaking News" about something and that there was a great loss of life as a result of whatever it was that had occurred. My thought upon waking was it was related to this walled city. I am still very sad about this and the other dreams. I will get those others posted later. Back in the fall of 2010, I had a strange dream of seeing the ancient ruins of Anthedon? They were right on the shoreline and I was seeing it through the eyes of someone searching for a loved one being held? I still remember the dampness of the ground and a modern day door built under the earth in an underground room. But when they reached the person? they were no longer there? It was very emotional. Wondering if it is related to this? |

Sher..I just Google that city..its in Gaza.. they have under ground tunnels there..and it's in Gaza that 5he hamas is holding Israeli captives... so could very well be! Btw.. Today these words just kept repeating while sleeping...like rehearsing for some big upcoming announcement or event....'breaking,breaking'....then seeing many different people in many different rooms were rehearsing this very phrase or line...like a leading up into a major news event or something like that...and it was like all these different peoples/actors etc. were all in some sort of lockdown scenerio or something like that.... Their rooms...like bedrooms were dark or with very little light...and they were all rehearsing this one verse...many voices at once... 'breaking, breaking'... This is the thread that I was in image via the aethers just as I watched the strike in israel...the image was the woman in black by the lions gate and a storm present inside the city of Jerusalem... I gotta very weird feeling that we now need to read mc young's Jerusalem tapestry thread to gleen further wisdom and insight. Shalom. |
