There was a news report today about an explosion in the Armenian capital
market place, which got me thinking of this dream from the past. I came to
find out that those ancient lanterns /lamps that looked Moroccan in design
are called Ner Tamid “Eternal light”. I found a photo of one that looked
very similar to the ones in my dream. The one with the broken piece. The
last three could not be stood up because they had a pointed base, which
meant they were hung. All the things I just learned this past week!

Subject: Seven lamps and alabaster woman hidden under large rock

Okay weird short intense dream just upon waking just
now...it is full of a lot of symbolism...in the dream I
was in a camp somewhere in a forest area...the people
around me looked like they were from the early 1800's
period America...I was standing next to a very large flat
rock...I waited for everyone that was around me to leave
to go do something...when they left I picked up a smaller
rock and started to break up this big rock...it crumbled
off in pieces like shale...I was thinking to
myself...good this shale looks like gold and it will fool
them...I began to clear the rock away and the first thing
I saw buried in the dirt was a figurine of the head and
shoulders of a white alabaster woman...that's what I
called it in my dream...I began to cry because I knew I
had found my families treasure they had hidden...I began
to clear more debris away and that is when a few people
had returned...they began to help me..it was a bit
chaotic, but I began to uncover large antique
lanterns...I cried again and set them aside...I told the
people helping...you can have whatever you find...but the
lanterns belonged to my family and they are mine...I
uncovered four of them...then I saw three lamps that were
standing together in the back...I knew these were the
oldest and most precious of all...I began to move them
out and found the seventh one was missing a piece...as I
was looking for the damaged part a large, seven foot
tall, about 375 pounds, Armenian young man, with dark
hair and a fat fleshy face...he was wearing a long white
tunic type top that went down past his knees and white
flowing pants, came and took all my lamps..the next thing
the scene switched to a bazaar and I was looking for my
lamps...the guy that took them, laughed at me and said
they were locked up in a storage and I would never find
them...I yelled at him and said they are mine!!! My
family has hidden them for generations and they belong to
me! He started laughing again and said if I went to look
for them he would have me arrested...I went off into the
crowd at this bazaar and stayed hidden to see where he
would go to where he had my lamps locked up...I never
found them because I woke up!!! Strange dream

Armenia was one of the first countries in the world to
adopt Christinity. There seem to be people trying to
stomp out Christianity and Jewish religions around the
world, allegedly to reunite the planet with one
religion. There is a reason people preserve religious
belief in cultural context, in the face of repeating
creation/destruction cycles of a country, and the faith
that survives with them.

Was the alabaster statue uncovered, rough, like the
Sumerian alabaster statue or more like a Greek statue?
Maybe she represents Aprodite Venus, the goddess of
love, beauty, and fertility? Power plays by humans to
control the minds, hearts, bodies, and souls of other
humans just minding their own business, is so sad, so
unnecessary, and it seems, cyclical.

The Armenian fire in the marketplace wsa rumored to be
caused by the Russians, lol. They have an Embassy in
Yerevan. Terrorism was not said to be the cause due to
the large store of fireworks in the area- ;)

The potential loss or theft of the family treasure, the
Ner Tamid lamps, sounds like dark times ahead.

From the JewishVirtual Library:
'An Eternal Light (Ner Tamid) hangs above the ark in
every synagogue. It is often associated with the
menorah, the seven-branched lamp stand which stood in
front of the Temple in Jerusalem. It is also associated
with the continuously-burning incense altar which stood
in front of the ark (see First Kings, chapter 6). Our
sages interpreted the Ner Tamid as a symbol of God's
eternal and imminent Presence in our communities and in
our lives.

Where once the Ner Tamid was an oil lamp, as was the
menorah which stood outside the Temple in Jerusalem,
today most are fueled by either gas or electric
lightbulbs. There is at least one Ner Tamid, located at
the Adat Shalom Reconstructionist Congregation in
Bethesda, Md., perpetually lit via a photovoltaic power
source (solar). The Etermal Lights are never
extinguished or turned off.'

My take anyway- ;)

that is sticking in my mind sher, can't remember but there was something in the bible wasn't her about 'alabaster'?...or maybe somewhere else. those lamps are really important messages and your link to what is going on there seem to be connected to your dream for sure....I dream so much every night, long, involved dreams but i think they are personal, most of them. It is those strange ones that make us pay attention and mean something on a larger scale happening.
