Subject: personal health dream |

last night i dreamed that i went to tie my long hair in a
pony tail and all my hair broke off at the hair tie. i
thought "well ok, guess i have short hair now" which is
generally my approach to stuff lately. still seems
strange. any ideas?

hmmmm that is where I always cut my long hair off, at the tie, because it is holding it in an equal length. I do that rarely but when it just seems 'too long', I will do it. Years ago, (many) when I belong to a spiritual group (not a cult) and the guidance was that I was holding some negative energy in my long hair and so I allowed it to be cut shorter. (which was a bummer as then I had to curl it...lol). and since I have always had lots of thick, fast growing hair, not to worry (for me). but your post made me go back to that time hon, and the tie that was 'holding it'. Maybe there is something or someone or ??? that is 'holding you back?' I don't think you need to cut your hair now, buy it is a message, perhaps....

Hi mimici! Happy to offer what I can... I usually tend
toward more personal interps of dreams rather than
generalized ones, so, first thing I think of is probably
one you already have, as well, and that'd be if there's
anything about your hair being shorter or longer that has
any kind of substantial charge -- but from what you say,
your "Okay, this is what's happening now" stance, that
doesn't seem the case... ;)
So then I'd go to the whole thing about hair length
having to do with one's personal power...w/some angles of
consideration being around how powerful you're feeling
within all your arenas of everyday life...if it feels to
you like something's missing, that some angle of greater
*powerful presence* in that arena that would support more
strongly? Certainly any situation, involving others or
not, where you feel your power is being...unseen?
ineffective? manipulated? not the best fit within some
situation or relationship? Anything or anyone bringing up
feelings of "not being equal to" something... You
mentioned health in your subject line, and I'm sure that
concerns around "weakness of health or vitality" could
fall into that, too... It wasn't your hair falling out,
but rather broke off on its own at the tie line, which to
me might imply a feeling of abruptitude, strength or
power in some context perceived to be suddenly lost
because of something...
I'm sure you get the drift... ;)
If none of this resonates, gosh, dunno! Then perhaps
something along lines of an image-clue brought up into a
dream that will make sense at some future point...? ;)

Thank you so much! I need to chew on that a bit. I think
we all feel a bit powerless lately but the abrupt aspect
is interesting. I really appreciate this feedback.
