I wasn’t going to post but this has come up twice now in two days. A flash vision of a park I went to when I was a kid in the foothills of the Altadena/La Canada area. The memory came in strong of me standing in the parking lot looking at a slide that resembled a rocket ship. I don’t know what it means. But I remember I got a sad premonition then, just like I have been for two days. Posting for what it’s worth. |

From May 2020. Because you also felt a connection to the space station? I really feel strongly it is related to the launch and private citizens going up to the space station on Friday April 8, 2022. Also, one of the astronauts is an Israeli, the second one to go up after the terrible loss of the astronauts on board the Columbia disaster of 2003 with Ilan Ramon. |

Okay,thanks, had forgotten all about it. I went to look at the moon calendar, full moon is coming up 17th/18 this month. But for now its similar to the phase I saw in dream. Could be rocket and or space station related as I mentioned earlier. Let's hope everything will be okay. |

Could it have been a waning moon and not a waxing moon? They are due to return on the 18th of April, I think? I hope and pray also it goes safely. I am hoping it is nothing more than picking up on the emotions from the terrible tragedy in 2003, since some personal family memento’s went up from Ramon’s family. Thanks! |

Wow, I had no clue about this? Maybe related since my next door neighbor when I was a kid living in this area, I just remembered he worked for JPL and their last name was Vanderhorn, if I remember correctly . It was many years ago! |

Hi sher, Back in the mid 70's - mid 80's, I spent many of days, perhaps several hundreds, playing Frisbee golf with my High School buddies, at Oak Grove disc golf park. We used to just call it Oak Grove park. It is located between Devils Gate Dam, and JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory) AKA (NASA). I do remember a attached park for kids, with stuff to play on. The Rocket ship slide, and JPL is a coincidence. And could be a clue. I even did a lot of electrical work at JPL back in the days, before I got out of SoCal. |

I can verify that- my children's father working for an arm of NASA, the rocket slide, JPL, yep. He passed in 2012. So yeah, I'd say something to do with NASA. |

Thanks Jeff and Pamela! I completely forgot about JPL! The memory that hit me twice was of me standing in the parking lot a public restroom was off to the left and the play area of this park sat with the mountains behind it, Mt Wilson I’m pretty sure was off to my right. I had an ominous feeling when I looked at the rocket slide. I still to this day remember that feeling. I was probably about eight, so it was in the late 60’s. |

A mile or so below Devils gate dam, and the 210 FWY crossing over the Arroyo Seco, is the famous "Rose Bowl". And all the way down to Highland park, is the Arroyo Seco Park. Your playground could have been down there too. But back to the Spaceship Slide, it was all about what was happening during the Cold War during the 60's. I remember Duck and Cover drills, under the desk in school. Covering your neck and head, so your did not see what is going to happen to you next. I'm glad JFK's administration saved the world with two minutes to spare. Hollywood does that nowadays with only 2 seconds to spare. But it's no laughing matter, because this is at our doorstep, 10X's worse. Hope it nothing more then a bad dream. And dreams are stimulated by current events. Thank you Jeff. That is the exact slide. I was thinking it could have been the arroyo secco park, but I’m not sure. Chuckles dream was very powerful as I too have had the dreams where I am brought to my knees in dread and sorrow. What I experienced three days ago was not a dream, it was a memory of an experience I had as a child . It’s hard to explain. Like a premonition I had as a kid looking at that rocket ship slide of something ominous in the future. Then three days ago having a flash remembering of that memory with the same feeling. And I had it two days in a row, out of nowhere. But it was more than a memory. It was like I was standing there again. It was more like a vision. I hope that makes sense. I hope with my whole being we all stay safe and can move past all this sad, heart breaking turmoil. Stay safe and well and thank you dearly. |

The rocket slide reminds me of a type of helter skelter slide but I can't tell a lot by the image how far one goes up to slide down...ooo...hmm, as I typed that just now the phrase came to me "what goes up, must come down, spinning wheel got to go round" = lyrics to a song by Blood Sweat and Tears.
