must be looking at too many of them online...
dreamt last night we were coming home on 199 (southern oregon hwy) and close to kerby, a long stretch with farm fields on either side, with fences, suddenly there was a huge sinkhole that takes up most of this two lane road. there is enough left and shoulder that I drive around it but then am waving my arms out the windows at all the coming traffic to get them to stop/slow down or something! one just sped by but the next one stopped and asked what was going on and I told him it was a sinkhole and no getting past it,so that slowed/stopped the traffic behind him and we drove slowly letting other drivers know about it.
I have watched lots of youtubes of sinkholes all over the world of course, but musing about my dream, that this one is so close to home, as we really don't have those here, must be symbolic. since this is the only highway to the coast here in southern oregon, anything happening on this highway creates such a bottle up on both sides, coming and going to the coast, and from it and one can spend hours just waiting. We had done that a month ago from an accident and it took an hour before the road opened up so the traffic could flow. This highway is insanely busy right now, hard too even get through town at times because of the traffic.
not thinking this sinkhole 'will' happen here in the future, but gives me pause for thought of what this means.

The sinkhole is
symbolic of an obsticle
and the need to go
around it...a detour as
it were...
Sinkholes are also
symbolic of the endless
Pit/Abyss..and/or
'going down the rabbit
hole'...its an endless
drop down a very dark
hole!!!

The road and/or highway
is symbolic of the road
of life of 3d
physicality...this
temporal 3d
life/existance of the
present here and now.
