I know I sound like a broken record! But this heat wave in the PNW
has me concerned about the dream I had in 2008 where I was on a
fire trail and saw the three sister volcanoes with NO ice or snow on
them and the middle sister erupted. I heard in the dream a voice say,
“ they won’t be expecting it”. This was followed by a big quake in
California. 7.7 possibly in Rialto

Oh holy crap! I’ve wondered why we haven’t already had a nasty
big quake…. We are sooooo over due. It would be one more piece
of the crazy state of the world. Nothing will surprise me. Hmmm …
that’s dangerous to say.

I've never seen anyone state there's a pattern in
any conventional research, but I feel like there is
a tendency for dry spells and/or heat waves before
many earthquakes.
I'm concerned too.
I've also always wondered how far down expansion and
contraction from long term excessively hot and cold
spells goes. I know the roads have been buckling
over there, but perhaps the heat only affects the
surface.
If it does go down deeper however, even a small
amount of expansion over a large area seems like it
could trigger problems.
