Every time I woke up from resting/nursing a migraine today this song was running through my mind. I have not heard it in years, not recently...It's not a song I would listen to on my own as it's not my sort of song per se. That does happen though where I listen to some songs though on purpose as I sense they are signs of the time or reflections of culture messages.
I wonder if it has to do with the area the song is written about which come across as NYC to me yet is also a song about the west in the U.S.. When this headache goes away I plan to look into it, for now posting it here and then off to tend to a migraine brought on by some atrocious weather.
It is interesting this song is running through my mind me on account of I was watching a youtube regarding a rodeo before I went to lay down...it was in Dallas, Texas this rodeo.
I've been walkin' these streets so long Singin' the same old song I know every crack in these dirty sidewalks of Broadway Where hustle's the name of the game And nice guys get washed away like the snow and the rain There's been a load of compromisin' On the road to my horizon But I'm gonna be where the lights are shinin' on me
Like a rhinestone cowboy Riding out on a horse in a star-spangled rodeo Like a rhinestone cowboy Getting cards and letters from people I don't even know And offers comin' over the phone
Well, I really don't mind the rain And a smile can hide all the pain But you're down when you're ridin' the train that's takin' the long way And I dream of the things I'll do With a subway token and a dollar tucked inside my shoe There'll be a load of compromisin' On the road to my horizon But I'm gonna be where the lights are shinin' on me
Like a rhinestone cowboy Riding out on a horse in a star-spangled rodeo Rhinestone cowboy Gettin' cards and letters from people I don't even know And offers comin' over the phone
Like a rhinestone cowboy Riding out on a horse in a star-spangled rodeo Like a rhinestone cowboy Gettin' card and letters from people I don't even know Like a rhinestone cowboy Riding out on a horse in a star-spangled rodeo
I just happened to notice "The Old Glory Relay" that began September 11th in memorial to the 17th anniversary of the 9-11 Terror attack...Today the relay is in Manhattan but the plan is a coast to coast relay. This further reminded me of the Rhinestone Cowboy (star spangled rodeo) song that came to me on the day I started this thread while I slumbered. It came to me again day before yesterday morning bleeding through my sleeping moments.
The relay started in Boston on September 11, 2018. I received the song on September 10th. Might be something to do with this relay the song fits the coast to coast theme in the song as well as the mention of the flag as in star spangled rodeo...NY to CA is said the song encompasses.
The relay ends November 11th.
This is the 5th year of the Old Glory Relay.
track the relay: https://share.garmin.com/OldGloryRelay
Old Glory Relay trailer 2018, about a little over 1 minute: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4YHFHE2BdI
This all ties in with the Red Sox WS win in 1918 as it was a couple of months before the end of WWI on 11-11-1918, then their long dry spell of no WS wins until 2004 (during a lunar eclipse)...Hence it ties in with the Veterans Day centennial also.
Below is a clip From link above, about the Old Glory Relay...the race began at Fenway Park home of Boston Red Sox and will end in San Diego, CA it's about supporting Veterans. Ian Long was a Veteran also and I noticed in one of the images shown from his high school year book he was wearing a t-shirt with an eagle on it which reminds me of the Old Glory Relay symbol.....the American style eagle. I looked up the company that makes them and it's called Affliction Clothing and it's motto is "Living Fast".

east coast to west coast song connections....
The Red Sox won the WS for last time until 2004 on 9-11 in 1918 and WW1 ended on 11-11 of the same year.....The Old Glory relay in 2018 was from Boston (Fenway Park) on 9-11-2018 to San Diego, CA ending on 11-11-2018.
(This last WS the games were played in Boston and CA....There is a link to more on that from a WOWOWs link in this thread)
The first migrants from Honduras (or so they say) have arrived at the Tijuana-San Diego border....I only noticed because San Diego was the Old Glory Relay destination for 2018. Thought maybe something of a foreshadow in this....maybe not.
for RCC Saint Didacus (San Diego) feast day was yesterda Nov. 13th: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Didacus_of_Alcal%C3%A1
Tijuana derives from the Kumeyaay word Tiwan, meaning by- the-sea. Common in regional folklore, a myth exists purporting that the name is a conjunction of Tía Juana, the Spanish- language version of Aunt Jane.

In your post in the thread about the Boston Redsox WS win in 2004, you mentioned not only seeing the lunar eclipse, but also a cloaking UFO. You also wrote in that post:
“I wonder if this WS is a marker of some sort...I had something come to me about baseball in a strong way when I viewed drone footage of the Georgia Guidestones in 2016.” -------------
The Georgia Guidestones focused on reducing the population of the US to 500 million. which probably involves behind the scenes manipulation of circumstances and mind control (such as the Thousand Oaks shooting?). The song Rhinestone Cowboy kind of relates to the “country music” in both the Thousand Oaks Borderline Bar and Grill college students music event and the Las Vegas “country music” festival, close to a year ago.
You also mentioned that the recent Boston Redsox WS win of 2018 is 100 years after the 1918 Redsox win. The Redsox didn’t win another WS after 1918 until 2004. You explained more in detail the connection between Rhinestone Cowboy and “star spangled rodeo” in this post of the same thread:
In a way country music and christian gospel music are the last of traditional european-american musical heritage. The 9+ earthquake-tsunami in the Indian Ocean took place on Dec. 26, 2004, a few months after the Redsox won the Sept. 2004 WS. There were also reports of UFO’s before the 2004 earthquake-tsunami.

I think that the "Poppy Bush" and the Stormtroopers dream all tie into this theme song as well as with the Georgia Guidestones and the saucer I saw the night of the total lunar eclipse October 2004....The Moon and Earth were in constellation Aries but my eye kept being drawn to the Pleiades in constellation Taurus. (Earth is currently in constellation Taurus/the bull).
The Bush family in Texas...the cowboys theme continues with also the Bush Library at Texas A & M University in Houston (Space City & "hook em' horns" of the bull mascot) where he will be buried, etc.
It's like a tapestry but I was not realizing it until now.

The point about the Georgia Guidestones you make I had never thought about it in that way....hum....
Noted as well your point about the Indonesian quake in 2004 and the possible link there as well regarding the Red Sox WS win shortly before that event and the cloaking UFO during the lunar eclipse.
The song is like a coast to coast quest for fame kinda song with undertones of televised programs back in the day of cowboy hero's...More of the story behind it is at the link if anyone else is interested. To me it's heavily symbolic of this "western world "of the U.S.A. which further reminds me of the program West World with an underground CEO. Maybe a significant coast to coast event in the near future for the current western world...the song is still running through my mind in the background.

And....here's more that connected to the thoughts I shared about the song "Rhinestone Cowboy" from link above:
'Westworld’ Location at Paramount Ranch Burns Down
The historic Western town area at Paramount Ranch in Agoura Hills, Calif., where productions including “Westworld have shot, burned down Friday in the Woolsey fire, according to the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation area’s Twitter feed.
“Westworld” uses the Western town set to shoot its Main Street scenes. The HBO series is also shot at the Melody Ranch in Santa Clarita and in Utah and other locations.
HBO said in a statement, “Paramount Ranch was one of the locations used during seasons one and two of Westworld, in addition to the primary location at Melody Ranch in Santa Clarita. Westworld is not currently in production, and as the area has been evacuated, we do not yet know the extent of the damage to any structures remaining there. Most importantly, our thoughts go out to all those affected by these horrible fires.”
Now part of the National Park Service and open to the public, the ranch has been the site of numerous productions throughout the years and was first started by Paramount Pictures in 1927. Among the films that shot at the ranch were “Caught in the Draft” with Bob Hope, “The Lake House” with Sandra Bullock, and TV shows including “The Mentalist,” “Weeds” and “Quickdraw.”
“Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman” shot there from 1992 to 1997. Before the area was a public park, it was used for car racing in the 1950s as the Paramount Raceway, which was portrayed in the film “The Devil’s Hairpin.”
The Malibu, Calabasas and Agoura areas are all under evacuation due to the fast-moving Woolsey fire, and numerous entertainment figures have been forced to leave the area, battling massive traffic jams. As of noon on Friday, the fire was moving into the Malibu area, where numerous valuable properties are constructed on the bone-dry, brush-covered hills.

I know I'm a real downer sometimes and that I'm not a common visitor here, but I do know that there are some powerful energies going on right now here in Oregon, and probably worldwide. It feels like judgment or something in a really good way. It's hard to explain, but it's a very pwoerful feeling. Like, love with karma?

Watching the video again I notice the symbolism of the white horse and theme of white. A cowboy savior...they sure are in need of one but I don't think of the sort depicted in the youtube clip.
Adding this link from wowows board with discussion between myself and Johnl as it ties in with what the Rhinestone Cowboy incoming I received which started this thread.
This is Eve’s link that started our discussion about her eventful day of Oct. 27, 2004, in which the Boston Redsox won the World Series, there was a lunar eclipse, she saw a UFO which used cloaking, etc. She focused on the song Rhinestone Cowboy suggesting an east-west coast connection of an impending crisis.
She had 2 more informative posts about a possible impending crisis, which seem to be worth considering.
Adding chatillion's post link and youtube link also from the National Board about "Cowboys for Trump Ride into DC" on February 22, 2019 as immediately felt it connected to this I received concerning the "Rhinestone Cowboy" song as well as other incoming reception (spirit, dreams, news foreshadows, war drums, football, baseball, etc.) as to a coast to coast event .
national board post...don't know how long it will be up till scrolls off ... http://earthboppin.net/cgi-bin/talkrec.cgi?submit=lt&baseurl=http://earthboppin.net/talkshop/national&msg_num=292822
What is even more interesting as I look into this further is that the place the 12 cowboys for Trump started from in Cumberland, Maryland also borders on the state in the Appalachia's my kinfolk hail from West Virginia.
excerpt from wiki link:
Cumberland is a city in and the county seat of Allegany County, Maryland, United States. It is the primary city of the Cumberland, MD-WV Metropolitan Statistical Area. At the 2010 census, the city had a population of 20,859, and the metropolitan area had a population of 103,299. Located on the Potomac River, Cumberland is a regional business and commercial center for Western Maryland and the Potomac Highlands of West Virginia.
Historically Cumberland was known as the "Queen City," as it was once the second largest in the state. Because of its strategic location on what became known as the Cumberland Road through the Appalachians, after the American Revolution it served as a historical outfitting and staging point for westward emigrant trail migrations throughout the first half of the 1800s. In this role, it supported the settlement of the Ohio Country and the lands in that latitude of the Louisiana Purchase. It also became an industrial center, served by major roads, railroads, and the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal, which connected Cumberland to Washington, D.C. and is now a national park. Today, Interstate 68 bisects the town.
As I was doing my usual history review for the coming day (3-3) it stood out to me that in 1931, 88 years ago the U.S. adopted it's national anthem "The Star Spangled Banner".
Also I notice it was written in Maryland the same place as the same state "The Cowboys for Trump" set out from on their 8 day journey via horseback to visit Trump in D.C.
Maryland is also was where Trump gave a two hour rally today at National Harbor.
Something in the shadow news here involving Mary Queen of Heaven (?) maybe(?)....Seems to be echoing, perhaps more revelation comes soon, this is a lot for one week imo and probably some I have missed. Maryland = Mary's land.
★Another thing I found interesting thing going back to the song "The Star Spangled Banner" lyrics is that it was put set to the tune of"Anacreon in Heaven" which is a drinking/imbibing make whoopee music:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydAIdVKv84g
0:13 / 2:25 The Anacreon Song
Joao Rocha Published on Aug 27, 2010 The song was written for the Anacreontic Society, probably around 1771. The tune (...) is now thought to have been written "collectively" by members of the society, led by John Stafford Smith (...). The society met every two weeks to get drunk, sing songs and to indulge in some debauchery. Anacreon himself was a Greek poet from about 570BC who was noted for his erotic poetry (...) and his drinking songs.
To Anacreon in Heav'n, where he sat in full glee, A few sons of harmony sent in a petition That he their Inspirer and patron would be; When this answer arriv'd from the Jolly Old Grecian "Voice, fiddle and flute, "no longer be mute, "I'll lend you my name and inspire you to boot, "And, besides, I'll instruct you, like me, to intwine "The Myrtle of Venus with Bacchus's Vine."
(...)
Ye Sons of Anacreon, then join hand in hand; Preserve unanimity, friendship and love! 'Tis yours to support what's so happily plann'd; You've the sanction of Gods and the fiat of Jove. While thus we agree Our toast let it be: "May our club flourish happy, united and free! "And long may the sons of Anacreon intwine
