Politics was discussed there. There wasn't a board
specifically dedicated to it. But it was discussed.
There was a religious discussion board there as well.
I came to syzygy from the Hot Sheets boards in'98

I didn't say it wasn't discussed there, every time I went
to look at those forums, like Lets Talk and some others,
towards the end, looked like a shit fest, like it does
here. Just pointing out it wasn't labeled political and
then gave examples of the names. I think I looked at the
hotsheets boards back then, '97/98 but never
participated.

I would disagree with you. Sygyzy was much worse. Not
only were there crazy flame wars, but there were
outrageous trolls who would invade the boards along with
spammers.
That is why JOB eventually required registration to
enter along with a fee.
And that is why Bopp keeps this site as far away from
Google as he can. We still get some trolls once in a
great while.

Google owns allot of sites including google, parented
by Alphabet Inc. I boycott google but I do use
youtube, but looking for other outlets. I think its
good for him to boycott google. Mr Bopp has closed down
National quite a number of times. I like it when he
does that, and wish he would never open it up again
including International. Just horrendous what goes on
here and far too many trolls for my liking. And like I
wrote, I did not care for Syzygy political stuff
either. Well, we can all live without all this stuff
just fine, but too often people get sucked into the
fray lowering their spiritual frequencies.

I don't know about that. I think you are ignoring your
political side when you write things like this.
Your political bent comes out in your posts whether you
like it or not.
Off the top of my head, your take tends to be anti-
government and anti-science in terms of medical issues.
And you are a pacifist in terms of global politics.
Your argument that you are entirely benign in terms of
a
political attitude just doesn't hold water with me.
my reply to this:
I'm strictly talking about on line/internet politcal
"discussions". I neither ignore or hide from whats
going on in the world. I stay informed no matter what
is posted on Nt'l or International. I prefer not to
engage in these forums where its too easy to be subject
to bashing, trolling, getting insnarled into left/right
arguments.
And will continue to feel this way, thats why I wrote
we don't need this in our lives. When I joined the
Berkland and then Mr Bopp it was Earthquake related or
on occasions, dreams. And for quite some time I stayed
off the political crap when I moved over to EB. I
never engaged on th Berkland site for politics.
Anything else of your opinion of me is just that. I
have a whole other life off the internet.

Hi pamela,
Well said. There is a big difference between discussing events happening
in the world around us and the petty partisan politics that have ruined
this place. Certain people were pacifists claiming Republicans were
leading us to war and suddenly became war hawks when the party in the
White House changed. Partisan politics is what drives certain people to
troll and distract anyone criticizing the current administration.
Hell Akira was called un-American by the Republicans for her constant
criticism of government and ironically the Democrats are now calling her
un-American for the same reason. But Akira didn’t change, she sticks by
her beliefs while some folks views change based on the political winds.
Stick to your values!
I better step away before Herr Bopp gets upset.

thoughts always. I just wish the best for everyone, and
