Sirota is still milking his Bernie gig...more 'laurels-resting', I see...but then there's a lot of that going around, with your choice of 'exposé' reporting, by Hersh, et al, with a distinctly biased edge, mostly hostile to American policy not up to your own ideas which are in line with certain writers' very overt mischaracterizations, misinterpretations or just plain fabrications, with the obvious purpose of stirring the pot for controversial impact. The only time someone failing to cite a source for something they post would generate anything at all from me would be A) if it were habitual or B) if what the post was claiming was potentially monumental in its impact one way or another, regarding some issue or reality so important to me that anything claiming to factor into it carried that much weight... Akira, to me it comes down to this: No one can control the words or thoughts or values or choices of another. You can't make Ryan align himself with exactly what you're uniquely experiencing with Dan, nor can he claim to have bottom-line-factual-truth knowledge of what was said in the exchange between you without hours of searching archives...which, somehow, I just don't think will come into his plans. You're asking him, and all of us, to "side with" you in this...in effect, just believe you over Dan, conclude that "akira would never lie, so Dan must be*...and, if we don't, you're deeming us dishonest. That's fucked up. What if this is just human error? What if Dan forgot to cite a source, and is somehow remembering or misremembering your having done the same? What if he's right? What if you're right? While as a fellow human being I do care about your feelings, and what you're experiencing...and integrity & honesty is very high on my list of priorities and values...it's hard to not wonder, when considering it in context with such realities as human error AND human nature's little spazzes, what's really at the core of why determining this is so deal- breaker crucial to you? ...the irony is that you, of all people, have figured out that the best way to "grow" in understanding in life is to research and post new "information" for others here to consider. The problem arises when some people here attack not only the information, but the poster as well.
