I started a thread which attracted a multitude of nasty comments and
attacks. You allow shadow to spew, shit and piss all over the place. Not one
of her posts had anything to do with the topic. And you accuse me of
trolling? That's nuts.

The meaning of the crickets post was an expression of frustration about the
narrowness of topics discussed on the national board, not directly at the
lack of replies to my post. Trump and Jan. 6 seems to be nearly the only
topic of interest. Criticism of the right is acceptable and prolific. Criticizing
the democrats in congress or the Biden administration is verboten, or gee,
let's just wait and see before making judgement.
and I noticed you deleted shadow's first nasty post on that thread, but left
the rest. Why is that? Not a single post of her's had anything to do with the
topic I posted about. Just her usual spleen venting. Why is she allowed to
continue behaving this way, clogging up boards, while some one like Jim
get's banned? You have explaining to do. But I won't hold my breathe.

I wonder how you would feel, think & respond if you were on the receiving
end? If you participated on a chat board moderated by someone who chose
to keep posters in the dark about the many factors that go into their
moderating decisions, why some people are allowed to troll & not follow
etiquette while others are not. Imagine if laws were made and enforced that
way? Haven't you wondered why so many interesting posters have left?
Looks a little like someone has a god complex.

the winning combination.
The good news is that chronically "independent" spirits
like us now know exactly where we fit into the Boppin
pecking order and exactly "what isn't" expected of us.
Independent minded individuals are always welcome to
"apply" but only very carefully.
This probably goes back to the 1760's in America when
only "landowning" Caucasian males were entrusted with
writing and enforcing the rules. Things have changed on
"paper" quite a bit since then, but apparently not too
much.

Most are not promoting the "good people on both sides"
mantra. Or in your version no one is signing up for "bad
people on the US and democratic side".
I think most are aware of the negative aspects of what is
happening. I for one, do not enjoy your judgements being
put in my face with your posts.
And before you say "don't click on it", you put your
position in the thread title. It is impossible not to see
it, as I'm sure is your intent.
I've said this before. But I'm going to say it again. Your
positions are judgmental and short sighted, promoting
hysteria and myopia. They are deflections from the larger
picture and discussions to the practical solutions to the
issues raised.
What is most disturbing to me is that you seem to be
oblivious the fragility of this country's democratic
government. Instead of recognizing this peril, you
continuously attack this country weakening it further.
Further, you do not seem to care about the effect your
commentaries have. Either you are in complete denial or
you are simply so arrogant that you would be pleased to
see our democracy end with a "I told you so mind set".
I just can't believe that you hate this country so much
that you would be happy to help push it into an
authoritarian state. And as much as you deny it, that is
exactly what you are doing and have done.

It seems she is a hard left progressive. The extreme left work
towards demolishing government the same way extreme right does.
They would just rebuild a different way. When Akira posts continuous
articles that criticize and tear down our government, whether it be
Trump or Biden, there is purposefully no solutions attached for either
side. Because the goal is not to fix anything. But replace. In my
opinion.

have no idea what could replace the government after they

disapproval isn't that. The site is comprised of a group of untrained, biased
people posing as arbiters of truth in their spare time. If the site doesn't even
measure up to mainstream, Columbia Journalism Review, why do you Bopp
give it so much credibility?

I do not feel entitled. Two people are allowed to source troll so it’s my
decision not to give them a reason by just not posting links.
I truly miss the old days of eb where people were allowed to have
opinions and discussions even tho they sometimes got heated. I spend
most of my time on political forum where it’s allowed. Heavily monitored
but fair.

What's the purpose of 90% of the posts on National?
About 10% are genuine National discussions.
The rest tend to be source challenges, snark,
diversion, psychology advice, anal probes, personal
attacks and off topic.
Akira is probably the single most serious poster on EB
these days and yet when she get's attacked, you pull
her over for a warning instead of the troller.
Do you really want to improve this or just continue to
be part of the problem Bopp?
