As far as I could see from the last several posts I saw
from JTRIV, everything started out fine, even when I
disagreed.
Then Bopp/Ryan started baiting him. Then JTRIV
responded in kind.
As far as I can see, Boppp baited him into a reaction
as a way to rationalize banning him.
Basically, gaslighting.
I disagree with a lot of what JTRIV posts, but Bopp
seemed to have an agenda of pulling everything JTRIV
said out of context and pushing it to extremes. I
recognize that because unfortunately I have a habit of
doing that. It's wrong when I do it, it's abhorrent
when a moderator does it.
This is no longer a safe place.
I also don't think the person posting as Bopp is Bopp.
I'm not sure who he left the site to, but this is a
different person's posting style, it's bothered me for
about the last year or so.
I'm going to assume the original Bopp passed away and
this is whoever he left the site to, betraying his
legacy and a lot of what I valued about the site.
Since this can no longer be considered a safe place,
I'm out of here.

Yes things have changed. Don’t give up tho. Just go with the flow and
change the way U post. I have. I miss Jim and especially grz. I’m sure
nevada will be next. Looks like George finally got his boot although he
deserved it.

Just FYI, I left a reply to your similar post on Personal,
(((Awen)))...
Outta here before everyone lines up to utilize this from
you as validation precedent and encouragement for rehashing
every complaint about our host that's ever been, ad
nauseum...*eyeroll*

...the resulting negative and hostile atmosphere being
created is the same.
I agree, this definitely does not seem like a very safe
place anymore for many of us.
Ironically, this type of behavior on "Bopp's" part does
nothing to make the world a better place or EB a finer
forum.
