There might be legal considerations I'm unaware of, as well as just the general ethical issues that exist strongly on either side here.
A "Yes" could potentially open a big can of worms that frankly if I were a moderator I would NOT want to deal with, so if anyone asked me, I'd probably say "no".
However, do we have permission to take screen grabs of conversations?
(Eve, so we're all on top of things and you can't make the claim that I'm "talking behind your back", I'm mentioning you directly in the header, since I'm using our recent conversation as an example).
Folks have made reference back to previous posts here in the past, linking back to them when it relates to previous content, especially in Dreams.
Dreams has a large archive, my other post earlier was inaccurate in saying there wasn't. I've since been doing some searching to try to find the conversation I mentioned, since Eve denies it took place.
The archiving function doesn't catch everything, I've specifically looked for a couple of old posts of my own that were in my journal to test it. One was present, the other, despite being more recent and searching specific phrasing was not.
Ethically speaking this is a space where people want to speak freely, and the idea that someone might be saving, documenting conversations beyond what the forum does itself might be at odds with their feelings of safety and privacy. So I can absolutely understand and will respect it if you say no.
However, this isn't the first time a person has denied certain threads and conversations ever took place, and...I think it's better when people remember their whole self, not just the bits and pieces convenient to who they currently want to be.
That goes for me as well. I've reread some of my old threads and realize that there is denial and forgetting on my part, and I am a bit horrified at some of my earlier posts. But that is precisely why there's a need for rereading and remembering. Personal accountability.
That said, the desire I have to leave some of my own older posts dead and buried to others lends weight to siding against taking screen grabs. That power too goes both ways.
Your call, and like I said, there may be legal considerations as well as the other ethical ones. Either a yes or a no works for me in different ways for different reasons.
A "yes," being able to quote people would be reassuring and I do think people need that self-awareness, but just as they prefer (and frankly at times have damn good reason) the past NOT be displayed, so too would I be reassured by a solid "no" in a way about others not being able to display my own past.

You have been talking about me and bringing me into your drama queen speak here and on dreams and in the past for your own personal issues you fail to resolve as it's repeated and repeated time and time again on these boards. Not only that you say things of me that are not true in terms of political stuff as sadly this world divides everything into that category now and it's one reason I don't believe in it and loathe it so....And though you may want to define everyone that way I think it's because you were programmed from youth to do so in many forms and you cannot break free and think outside those perimeters it's a common ailment today, a global psy op plague on society imo which has gone so far it's in break down mode.
