Your own rules here say: The basic rules for posting are quite simple. Stay on topic and don't make it personal. No flaming, trolling, stalking or personal attacks. So does that not apply to Dan? Is he another with Carte Blanche here and doesn't have to abide by any of the rules? Because we know Dan stalks and trolls the shit out of chatillion (and several others). He never discusses things with her, he just trolls the shit out of her. And lately he's been frustrated that he can't source troll with that idiot's media bias site so he just attacked Wordpress, one of the largest web companies. So do you really mean he can say ANYTHING? That those rules you talk about don't apply and he can continue to stalk and troll the shit out of the people he trolls constantly even if he has nothing to say and makes another "Dan blunder" such as attacking Wordpress? We have another example showing Dan is just trolling people with the source thing. He posted on National using a source that didn't meet the standards of that media bias site and when Akira pointed that out he went crazy. This shows Dan has no real interest in sources. He just uses that media bias site as a tool to attack people with but doesn't check his own sources and goes ballistic when it is pointed out he uses sources that don't meet the same standards. http://earthboppin.net/talkshop/national/messages/401813.html Another examples from last week is where Dan admitted: " The people that I had in mind prefer objective reports. You blundered in telling me how condescending it was for me to say what people would read, not realizing I was quoting Dan. So Dan admitted that the people he posted the media bias dude for weren't going to read chatillion's sites, i.e. Dan is fully aware the only people who heed his warnings of sources weren't going to read those sources anyway. Hi Lee, I don't think so. While that was an interesting article this seems to be about ryan supporting "the few" and their trolling against people he doesn't like. The other day he posted the rules on National. The basic rules for posting are quite simple. Stay on topic and don't make it personal. No flaming, trolling, stalking or personal attacks. But those rules don't apply to everyone. Dan tends to dishonestly stalk and troll certain people on this forum with impunity. ryan only deletes posts that object to Dan's trolling. Or ao who attacked karen back in early November and we haven't seen her since. He's attacked several other people since including Charles and shatterbrain. But ryan is good with it and doesn't really care what we think of his hypocrisy. He enjoys letting "the few" attack and stalk and troll people while deleting the posts of anyone who objects. I have a 3 and a half acre Zen sandbox at Walker Lake that I bought and I set the ground rules for the squirrels, chipmunks, lizards snakes and other creatures that may come by from time to time. Ryan isn't going to change until he chooses to. The world as we know it is pretty much the same. On the positive side, I've been led to believe that given enough time, change is pretty much guaranteed. That's why I still prepare for it. |

Hi Lee, I agree with that. Like the child who owns the sandbox ryan gets to make the rules and enforce them as he sees fit. The problem is that ryan isn't honest about it. He quite literally says what the rules are and then hypocritically harassers certain posters who are following the rules while supporting the bad behavior of others. Sure my questioning Dan about his attacking Wordpress made Dan look foolish. But my questions were polite and on the topic of his post. The foolishness was due to Dan's cluelessly attacking Wordpress due to his frustration over not being about to use the media bias dude against Wordpress sites. It was kinda like the time Dan claimed Oxford University was an anti vax propoganda site! LOL He looks for the easy way to dismiss things and makes no effort to have dialogue. Regardless of how ryan wants to define it Dan's behavior is stalking and trolling. I thought it was particularly odd that ryan said "but it's really none of your business is it...". So Dan stalks certain people trolling them with stupid shit but it is none of our business that Dan is stalking and trolling and being disruptive. Cheers Jim |

...in the EB sandbox, ryan can "legally" not only write all the rules, but "if he pleases", break all the rules and allow those he chooses to do likewise. Like me, you've become a thorn in his side. He can keep us around for comic relief if he so chooses... or not. We have no say. He has the "power" of delete, just not the power of defeat. ...that part stays with us. The good news is we still get to be masters of our own universes and ryan or others have little to say how that works out. That part remains between us and creation. ...seems fair enough. As for ryan, he gets to push a lot of buttons for a while longer... just as we do. Chances are he'll eventually get tired of it... especially if the buttons stop working so well when pushed. ...if you get my drift. |

But that doesn't mean I'm going to bend over and grab my ankles and say 'thank you sir, may I have another' to his dishonest harassment and the dishonest trolling of "the few". Just not gonna happen. I'll point out his dishonesty and hypocrisy until he either sees the light or boots me. I'll point out that Dan is a troll... and it is easy to do that politely just by asking questions that illustrate what a clueless and lazy troll Dan really is. Long ago this was an open forum for the free exchange of ideas. But these days ryan seems to keep it going so he and "the few" can harass and troll people without consequences. Hell I'm actually starting to believe he let's ao behave the way he does in an effort to drive away the last few holdouts that don't accept their beliefs. ...actually Jim, Karen is doing quite well, see her posts in another location along with Jeff, Katt, Chatillon and the whole "conservative" group that used to post regularly here. Having said that, I've noticed that a lot of "liberals" that were regular posters here have either moved on or only rarely post here anymore. It would appear that possibly Dan has had to make up for the "shortage". If you really look closely, Akira, in my opinion, has become the most stable and responsible poster at the moment. Ryan may have the power of delete but Akira has found the proper balance. As a triple Libra, I can respect that. |

Hi Lee, Glad to hear karen is well. I agree that Akira is the most stable and responsible poster here. Just not sure how long that will last since she has taken several long breaks from here recently because of all the trolling and attacks. It really drives them crazy that she is a liberal who has the nerve to actually be objective. Kind of like how they don't like certain true things to be said about the vaccines for fear that someone might not get vaccinated they live in fear that if any criticism (even if true and deserved) of Democrats is expressed that will lead to Republican victory.
