Mr Bopp has never been a supporter of fairness. Just not

Hi ryan,
It would really be nice if on occasion you would tell
some of "the few" to chill out with their over the top
behavior. I mean for fucks sake Dan keeps posting bad
info and when I politely correct it he attacks me. Every
fucking time. Most of his posts to anyone other than
"the few" are more focused on the poster than the topic.
I realize you make the occasional post from him
disappear but you make no other effort to get him to
curb his out of control behavior.

misrepresent nearly everything you post. When people

It is like you are trying to prove my point by jumping

Hi karen,
ryan knows, no blinders. He just allows Dan to troll and
attack anyone who isn't among "the few". I'm sure he
enjoys it while the rest of us constantly have our posts
disappear for saying much milder things that are
actually honest while Dan trolls and attacks people.
But like the spoiled kid in the neighborhood with the
ball if you want to play here don't expect fairness. It
is ryan's forum and if he wants to allow the halfwit to
attack and troll people no one can stop him. I'll keep

Sure, considered it then dismissed it.
As I pointed out if Dan isn't responding to one of "the
few" his responses focus on the poster and not the
message. It is a pretty obvious thing.
I participate in other forums with strict moderation
policies that strictly prohibit making things personal
with zero issues. Here you let a few people run wild and
the rest of us get our hands slapped if we complain
about jackasses bad behavior and false accusations.

I visit other sites also and rules are very strict. One actually bans using
the media bias site. They aren’t all conservatives either. Mixed. I left

given the anger behind a lot of my posts if you
considered them personal attacks. I do have very
strong thoughts on the matter, and I state what I
consider to be simple truth.
However, all of those posts you laughed at and took in
stride.
It was the post I made in grief, was literally crying
as I wrote it because I'm so scared of what has
happened to all you people that for some reason you
took as a personal attack.
For reasons I still don't understand since nothing
there was said in anger, or said in a judging,
condemning way (in extreme contrast to just about every
other exchange I've ever had with you since you started
on your anti-mask crusade).
I'll reiterate what I said in the follow up to your
accusation. I'm bewildered that you'd consider that
particular post a personal attack.
How is something said in grief for everything all of
you have lost an attack?
I'll also reiterate that maybe as an autist I just
don't get something that might be obvious to a
neurotypical. But no attack was intended in that post
(others might be up for debate given the rage behind
them. While I consider what I said objective reality,
I do understand that the strong language could be
considered an attack, but that one....the one you
accused me on....no).

I'm sorry but all the emotions you ascribed to me on
that thread made no logical sense.
I don't know of neurotypicals who think like you
accused me of thinking, let alone those of us on the
spectrum.
The emotions you mentioned on the thread do not exist
in this kind of context for human beings.
Speaking literal truth of a fundamental change of a
person into something else entirely isn't an attack.
When people change, that means a part of them is dead.
Sometimes that's a good thing, I have a lot of things
I've left behind, grieved for a passing of something in
myself that no longer fits, moved on. Sometimes it's
tragic. We grieve losses in others, when parts of them
die.
I'm not speaking of anything odd here, this is a pretty
standard approach to any kind of human change, and the
funerary approach for putting those losses to rest,
cutting ties with them is pretty standard
psychotherapy.
I'm guessing I mentioned death and you have a very
different emotional inflection than I do about it.
Death isn't evil, it's a fact of change.
I've already mentioned the extreme ways you've changed
in past posts, and you just laughed about it and said
it didn't bother you when on one occasion I expressed
concern. You kind of mocked me for having concern, it
seemed like.
The only difference between this post and that post was
the mention of the standard therapeutic approach to
certain types of change that we grieve over. IN this
case, metaphoric death in reference to those parts
which are no longer alive.
As far as the disappointment in what is left, and the
notion of possession, you were never bothered by that
in past exchanges, or if you were, you lied when I
expressed concern.
When people don't act in a logical manner consistent
with their own professed values, it bothers me a lot,
though I have to level that complaint against myself
too, since emotion isn't logical and my response to
irrational people is itself irrational.
You think I'm hard on you? I detest myself. I've never
ranted at anyone beyond what I rant at myself for being
a stupid irrational little freak.
What I will apologize for here is this. When I don't
understand a reaction, when a person is illogical and
irrational as you are being, inconsistent with your own
professed values and beliefs, as your entire
antimasking crusade is, I fixate on it. I realize that
bothers some people, that may have been eating at Eve a
while back and though we hadn't had any recent
exchanges I do wonder if that played into her decision
to leave for a while or permanently.
As such, I'm going to try to cut ties with this thread
and this line of thought here and now, at least on the
forum. I think we are too different to have an
understanding of one another, since you don't operate
by any logic or consistency that I can understand,
therefore I'm not going to get an explanation that I
understand. Fixating is useless and it'll only bother
you without any real resolution. To that end I do
apologize for my own psychological weirdness.
It's funny, my therapist says I shouldn't. That I make
too big a deal about it and that I shouldn't worry if
it bothers random online people. I say random online
people are still just as important as me, and I try not
to be dismissive of the potential negative impact. On
that count I disagree with the therapist. Actions have
consequences, even in online land, and fixations on an
issue make people who are associated with that issue
uneasy. I've found that the therapist doesn't seem to
consider other people quite real or worthy of
consideration unless they're right in front of her.
It's one of the things that has me actively looking for
a different therapist, but my insurance covers very few
in the area, and she's the only one in walking
distance.
At any rate, I'm sorry you're that troubled by death
metaphors (again, the only thing that's different from
past posts that you laughed off), but they are pretty
standard, in just about every self-help text I've read
and the three different therapists I've seen in after
each of the past moves I've made in 20 years.
Taking it out of the psychiatric metaphors and into the
metaphysical, I do consider "egregores" a fascinating
concept as it applies to the whole anti-masker
movement. Not as it's created, but as it takes over a
group.

I don't do political forums at all so can't comment
there. I'm on forums for science/history and
hobbies/video games mainly. Most have very strict
moderation policies that are applied fairly... in other
words very different from here.
