Bopp, if you feel that my response to Karen is over
the top on the health board, feel free to delete.
I did just figure out why her and people like her
trigger me so badly. But that revelation came at a
high cost.
Hoping that I can coast on a disassociative wave
until I get home from work and let it all out.
Please let it last for the next few hours, universe.
I'm not in a good place right now, or not going to
be once it cuts loose, and can't really assess very
well just how damning that second response is.

But it does seem they purified
themselves of the values that I
respected the Right for.
When I was a kid, I lived in a small
town far right town
Everything I told you about ethics and
decency was all the good things they
taught me. Those were the reason I
considered myself a Conservative for
decades until the hypocrisy got to me.
Now it seems the Left upholds the true
Patriotism and the spirit of America
better than the Right ever did even if
they too mostly do a pathetic job of
it.
No, Karen, while I DID degenerate into
ranting, all of the ethical points
were those the Right preached as
gospel (although they mostly failed to
practice) up until Trump came along.
That selflessness and looking out for
others, service and sacrifice was the
heart of the way Conservatives
promoted themselves.
I still view myself as a secular
traditional conservative, leaning
centerist.
I suppose it can be said that in
dismissing the ethics the party was
built on and divesting themselves of
even putting on a a show, the
hypocrisy is gone. Honesty? Yeah, but
honesty in turning against what was
good and right and making no show of
otherwise...well.
I'm the true Conservative, before you
all cast away the heart and soul of
what made the ideology if not the
people decent.
