Now that Dan has admitted to trolling can you try to
keep in him check?

In that post Dan admits "I refuse to read them and
call them out for what they are."
So he admittedly doesn't read the articles that are
the topic, he just focuses on and attacks them for
purely political reasons.
That is trolling. The examples we have been
discussing over the past couple of weeks were even
true stories. But the truth doesn't matter to Dan
because he is worried how the truth will be used
politically so he trolls the shit out of these news
stories.

...as I've mentioned earlier Ryan, the only really
serious contributor on National lately pretty much has
been Akira.
Her biggest "negative" was her recent tendency to
respond in kind to those that tend to attack rather
than contribute.
As moderator, maybe you could consider building an
"environment" here that is more conducive to
respectful exploration of issues and options than the
one-upmanship and bias that seems to be taking the
stage lately.
Your continuing support of putting down sources rather
than on meaningful dialogue is, in my opinion, a
serious mistake.
Dan, and others like him, are totally out of control
at the moment...
...and your responses do no-one any good in the
circumstances.
Best solution is an environment where "everyone", in
their own way, is deserving of their own pedestal.

As moderator? Building an environment? If Ry were to do as you say
you’d be booted bro. Simple as that. You’re behavior here is way
more often a part of the problem.. way more than you ever
demonstrate solutions. But still... in your opinion..

be a great moderator... at least Karen would think so.. take her with

...you have a problem with a forum "environment" that
helps bring out the "best qualities" in contributors
ao?
What we are doing presently tends to bring out some of
the worst in individuals...
...why not respect ourselves and others and encourage
a more positive venting of issues and opinions?
Do you prefer "war" or perhaps work instead towards a
lasting peace?
Seems like my third grade teacher Mrs. Barker was
encouraging us in that direction...
...we don't need to care about those qualities in each
other once we're "grown up"?
I've seen some really great posts come from you ao,
as well as some absolute immature stuff...
...I definitely prefer your great stuff.

...there is a Bopp approved and enforced double
standard when it comes to "inappropriate" material and
you need to either accept it or move on.
The United States is currently doing the same thing
around the world, the latest case being Iran.
"Truth" is what power determines it to be...

even keel...
