When I come here now started yesterday or day before my name after
all these years just shows up in the box without my having to type
it. Why is that? I figure it's the spy guys and they gotta see what
everybody's doing and let us know they know but I already know they
do it, there is no escape now it's started the dragnet experiment
from CERN.

Eve, most browsers have the ability to remember the
contents of boxes like that. It's totally in the
browser. Nothing to do with EB or anything nefarious.
It's a feature that you CAN turn off.
Possibly, like Ryan said, a recent update to your
browser occurred and that setting got changed. Or you
may have done something without realizing what it was.
Perhaps something popped up and you thought you clicked
it away but inadvertently changed the setting.
Just google the name of your browser and key words like
'remember forms', 'remember passwords', 'logins and
passwords'....etc....
Or maybe, like my browser does, you can right click on
the form and find a menu item taking you to the settings.
Again, it's just a feature that can be both good and
bad depending on how it's used and how well it's
implemented in the browser you use. But you ARE in
control of it.
